Guilt?I fully appreciate the concerns over the vaccine and I’m not going to criticise those who are too fearful to have it. It’s their choice. But why are so many acting like vegans, going on about it all the time and forcing their opinions on others?

How else would we know how much smarter they are than us?I fully appreciate the concerns over the vaccine and I’m not going to criticise those who are too fearful to have it. It’s their choice. I'm certainly not doing that. And for the record vegans wouldn't have the strength to reply anyway.I fully appreciate the concerns over the vaccine and I’m not going to criticise those who are too fearful to have it. I apologise for my comment, but don't expect the same from the vaccine supporters, their brains are addled by all the drugs they take. I bet most of them are smoking crack right now, and the remainder boofing lsd and shit. This thread has nothing to do with veganism or vegans but the usual crowd can't resist introducing it (ie going on about it!) and then demonstrating their impressive ignorance. Signs of guilt maybe? Pathetic.
Fair enough knowsnowt and apology accepted. I don't know if I'm smarter or stronger than your average omnivore but I'm 74, run a hilly 3.5 miles 2 or 3 times a week and weaned myself off a mother's titty-milk many years ago.I apologise for my comment, but don't expect the same from the vaccine supporters, their brains are addled by all the drugs they take. Because it’s not newsworthy any more.
Big demonstrations are covered.
Exactly since this began every family in the uk is £100'000 in debt , that's how much money has gone into protecting the 0.3% scandalousI don't disagree with your general concerns - but you can rest assured that when testing, they control for age, gender, medical conditions. This is exactly what they're trained to do. It's top scientists doing this work, not government appointed numpties.
The Government won't have the luxury of "telling us what we want to hear" in this case. That would mean silencing the people doing the work (EG Oxford University / Astra Zeneca) , and is entering the conspiracy world fantasy arena.
I completely agree that the Government are making the cure worse than the disease. That's another story.![]()
It was just intended to be a light hearted comment. Quite a lot of good friends of mine are either vegan or veggie but you’ve kind of proven my point. The only one blubbering is you. Eat what you want, it’s not my business. This thread has nothing to do with veganism or vegans but the usual crowd can't resist introducing it (ie going on about it!) and then demonstrating their impressive ignorance. Signs of guilt maybe? Pathetic. Get thissens a bacon butty if it'll stop yer blubbering like kids.
You won’t have to, people have already volunteered for that luckily.Just one thing I will not be a guinea pig for a new vaccine.
Good on yer. Vegans are good runners. And from my experience of Parkruns, it includes the ladies - most of whom have sharp elbows which they use as they go past me...Fair enough knowsnowt and apology accepted. How many people do you think would have died without lockdown? How many would have needed hospitalisation? And how quickly would we have run out of hospital beds? Sheffield hospitals were full to capacity last week. What sort of situation would we be in if we hadn’t taken the measures that we have? Now that would be the real scandal.Exactly since this began every family in the uk is £100'000 in debt , that's how much money has gone into protecting the 0.3% scandalous
Where did you get that info? I'm asking because my brother and a good friend work in our hospitals and have said over the last few months it's been pretty much dead with staff sat about doing feck all for the most part. How many people do you think would have died without lockdown? Im not going to go into detail for obvious reasons but Icu and covid cases weren't in any way over loading the hospitals in any way shape or form. Some routine appointments had increased workload but it was far from the emergency situation your post portrays.Where do they work?? In patient wards were all full to capacity last week.
You do realise that elective and emergency admissions are two very different things right? Presuming your lass didn’t pop on to a Covid ward for her “intrusive” (presume you actually mean invasive?) appointment?Im not going to go into detail for obvious reasons but Icu and covid cases weren't in any way over loading the hospitals in any way shape or form. Our lass. took up an appointment offered that she'd be waiting for for a while. We were in and out within 2hrs..And it was an "intrusive" appointment.
And Covid cases were absolutely overloading our hospitals in every way shape and form! You do realise that elective and emergency admissions are two very different things right? Presuming your lass didn’t pop on to a Covid ward for her “intrusive” (presume you actually mean invasive?) appointment?
Not really, I’m not trying to reason. The Trust is comfortably coping with covid(flu) it’s the cancers checks/screening what’s worrying. The country’s gone madAh ok I get it. You are so clueless there is no point even trying to reason with you. Cheers.
Yeah.. OK!And Covid cases were absolutely overloading our hospitals in every way shape and form!
So how do you safely treat the Cancer patient safely? They are by definition all at increased risk from this.... sorry is it a cold or the flu you seem to be changing your mind? Do we bring them all into hospital to sit in waiting rooms? Give them cancer treatments on wards with other people? These are the very people who are likely to die from Covid so how do we keep them safe and bring them into hospital at the same time? Not really, I’m not trying to reason. The Trust is comfortably coping with covid(flu) it’s the cancers checks/screening what’s worrying. The country’s fine mad
