Coventry match postponed

Not yet, but if the Coventry game is re-arranged for March 21st, it would mean 3 consecutive Tuesday games, 2 of which are decent length trips to Oxford & Swindon.

Because of Easter that only leaves 2 free Tuesdays, so any more postponements, ie Millwall, if they win their next Fa Cup tie, or if the bad weather arrives, then we will have a congested fixture list.
 



Make em play it, but to show what a splendid bunch of decent chaps we are, offer an early kick off.

1pm BDTBL, they'll be done and showered by 3.30pm for a nice drive down the M1.

A good night's sleep and they'll be fine for the Paintpot/Chiptrade thingy in the afternoon.

Would imagine it will be moved to Tuesday 4th April now.

Could be played the Tuesday 28th March but surely Coventry would prefer to keep the week before the final totally free.

If it's not played on 4th April then it means we'll have a stupid fixture pile up with the other alternative being in the final week between the MK Dons and Chesterfield games.

Let's hope we don't have any other matches postponed, due to poor weather.

I'm booked into the Copthorne for that weekend on a non flexible rate.

Oh well, looks like the wife will have company at Meadowhell this time.
 
Great news , they know they will be relegated so will focus entirely on winning this no mark waste of space cup , . whether we play then the week before or week after they wil have or will be focusing on winning the final.
and for those looking for reasons how we can fuck it up. stop wasting your time

Is that another name for an aeroplane GB?
Because unless it's some kind of WW2 reference, I'm struggling to find the connection between Coventry fans and the aeronautical business mate ;)

Ahem! 'Sky Boat' was simply a mixture of the 'Sky Blues Song' (what their shower now call it) and the 'Eton Boating Song' (the original title) I'll have you know GCB.

And that's what happens when I post in the early hours with a tired addled brain, when I should really have waited till I'd had a good night's sleep. Shudda known better... you git! ;)

Looks like it might be 5th April on the Wendy.
If that's the case then Cov will have 5 games to play after that one.
Considering they are currently 11 points off safety and with a shite GD it's conceivable that they may be already down by the time they take their trip to Wembley in the piss pot trophy.

If not, then we may well just be the side to inflict the final nail in the coffin of their relegation to the bottom tier of the Football League

Anybody else see the sweetness in that?

If they are already down and they have lost in the cup can you imagine the relentless piss take all evening?

They're on a hiding to nowt cos even if they win at Wembley there will be copious quantities of piss taken all over the place for that very achievement.

Please parade the trophy before us, please!
