Equally, we can't be bothered with a bunch of weird Coventry inbreds invading our forum and spouting shite upon shite. It's dull and nobody can understand why any of you dullards are here in the first place.

Coventry is the biggest shithole in the country, everybody knows it, naming a random suburb in Sheffield doesn't change anything. You're as tiresome as your pals. Please fuck off back to your horrendous city and stop bothering us. All the best!
Thrse and the cu.ts from Norwich. Proper fucking weirdos.

I am.

Fair play today. You stopped our offence like most clubs can't. We're crap in defence and worse today as our best defender was out.

Go enjoy your moment. We meet in years ahead or things have gone tit's up and see you at Wembley
You not going to Wembley pal😉

If you knew your history, you'd know we've chased owners out before.

Sorry, when have we ever done this? In my view our chairmen get easy rides compared to others, for example look at all the stunts Mcabe pulled on us, make no mistake we'd have been in bottom league had Prince not come In, even going back to that shit house Woolhouse and McDonald I can't recall us chasing owners out.

I don't have a problem with fans of other clubs coming on here - I mean what's not to like about S2 4SU? In fact I'm tempted to take my dark little self on to their forums too!

It's hardly Sheffield either is it you balloon (said from the other end of the Snake Pass

The built up area of Sheffield which people understand to be the city of Sheffield isn't. It's not in the national park regardless. Even places like Buxton and Ashbourne aren't but apparently Sheffield is 😂
I work for the council and we have teams of staff looking after the area of Sheff that sits in the Peaks. You might not like to admit it, but we have a rural third of the city that is protected for it's biodiversity and beauty. We also have some of the most affluent urban areas outside of London, it's fair to say we also have large areas of the city that have real problems, just like any city of our size.

On reflection of all the cities I've been to in the UK, Coventry definitely ranks amongst the worst. The city centre gave a really poor impression of the place. Although it was a bit nicer out towards Warwick Uni.

Reg Brearley was ousted by BIFA activity.

Cov are ball lobbing wankers.
Weird how they've falsified some form of us playing them being some form of grudge match. It really isn't.
They're just a shit little club with a nob head manager.
Back water little bastards.
I don’t mind Frank Lampard, in terms of football I think his heart is in the right place, and when he goes to a club he goes all in. Similarly I don’t mind Coventry as a club, but they have some really annoying fans. Very Wednesday-like, thinking a rogue cup win 40 years ago means they somehow should be higher up. I don’t get the impression Portsmouth fans are like that, who have a more recent FA cup win.

Aye
He must be better than the love child of Baresi & Beckenbauer if his presence significantly improves that defence in any meaningful fashion

If you knew your history, you'd know we've chased owners out before. We didn't resort to throwing tennis balls or blowing whistles when the opposition had the ball. We did it outside, right by the directors entrances, to the point they knew they weren't welcome anymore and sold up and fucked off.

We've been fortunate for 20 odd years of having stable ownership and not had to go back to that... but don't think we didn't.

Key point is... it was kept off the pitch and we didn't look like scrubbers doing it.

We tried all that. Our problems stemmed nearly 20 years and that night was a tipping point. Other clubs would have done a lot worse than a few whistles.

It's easy to forget as an outsider just how bad it was at the time.

I don’t think Sunderland are better than them, about the same level. The fact is the top 3 are significantly better than everyone else.
We (Sunderland) started off the season superbly gaining something like 28 points from the first 11 games. Since then we have won just 10 of 27 games. This is probably because Le Bris was found out after 11 games and we have struggled with both performances and results. We cant keep a clean sheet to save our lives.

However the rest of the division is fairly poor, they must be, or they would have caught us but we somehow remain 10 points clear of the 5th placed team.

The problem with Coventry is that because they beat us 3 v 0 they thought that they had beaten some progressive team that because we were 4rth were a great team - we aren't - as said we have fallen away dramatically and still aren't guaranteed play off football. Coventry defeated a very poor SAFC team and in reality it was nothing to dine out on.

Since we lost to Leeds at Elland Road, where we were 10 minutes from winning, we have fallen apart and thats because we were so far in front of the rest of the league that the last 13 games were almost meaningless. We gave up.

SAFC play Millwall at home today - we will struggle - as usual, to break a very average Millwall team down - as we struggle with all teams now. We will limp to the play offs but I fully expect us to lose in the home and away round and we wont make Wembley - doesn't matter who we play.

the only people waxing lyrical about Le Bris is sky Sports because more and more SAFC fans are wondering what comes next from him. If/when we dont go up the pressure will be on him and if we aren't in the top 2 or 3 after say 12 games next season he will be sacked.

SAFC previous record outside the top flight was 5 seasons - next season it will be 9 - almost double the record. A terrible indictment of the state of the club since we dropped out of the top flight.

That's fair but you protest also impacted us and our situation had we not gone up would have been dire. For the first few minutes of each half fair enough but, not as the game was at that stage.

People from Page Hall buy a second home to rent out in Coventry and complain about their tenants.
I expect that there would have been a dozen or so who failed to return to Coventry on their coaches and spent the night on one of the many 'street sofas' in Page Hall, where this morning they are claiming asylum.

Yeah that's fine. We both have different views.

Ultimately, we were fighting for our club to survive. Trying to stop our club being kicked out of the football league and our own city, again!

Yeah but that’s not our problem

Anyway more importantly, is Frank the man to lift you back up and fuck over Burnley next week?

In my opinion, Burnley will destroy Coventry next week if the home team set up to try and attack. It will suit Burnley down to the ground just as they suited us last night.

Another 'back-down-to-earth' drubbing for them I think.

No one cares here. We could all see that the disruption was clearly aimed at United and not continuous. You made yourselves look like fools, hence why you get little sympathy on this board.

No one gives a toss about Cov.
