too many top players for them to go down

Only spent another 300m to add to the squad that only stayed up last season on the last day.

Only scored twice this season so far. Both goals in their last game which was a home defeat to Villa who only had 1 point before their game. They're not bottom for no reason.

I wouldn’t. I’d sooner watch a rebuild from L1 than that.

Me too, but that's not what was on offer. It was hammered in the prem or the current situation. Was the apathy of inevitable relegation and failure to compete, worse then what we are facing currently? I think the only solace we could take during the prem years was a rebuild in the championship, and look where we are now.

Not too unhappy so far. We've lost to the top 3 and couldn't score as usual against Hull.

Our problem is a lack of goals. Only 1 goal so far and that was from JDS who hadn't scored for.us before in the 3 years he has been with us.

We have many idiots that think we should get rid of Lampard. They have very short memories.

We are really not interested.

I dont really have an issue with Coventry fans. The ones i know and have met on recent visits have been welcoming and always up for a chat about football as a whole. Obviously, there is banter about them being our feeder club and now the roles have been reversed a little bit.

Every club has their idiots including ourselves.

I welcome any fan to look at this forum as I enjoy most of the comments on here and goes to show the footballing world we do know a bit about football!

Agree, something will come up, Imagine Sheff Utd leading after 90 minutes, and a record amount of minutes added on to the game so they could beat us..

Manchester City, funny how the bottom three look doomed and Man Citys points deduction seems to be happening when they've already got a 13 point gap to the bottom 2...

Reminds me of Forest, when they took their points deduction with us, Luton and Burnley all dead and buried, they appealed the first amount, got it reduced, won the next game and were out of the bottom three a month later..

Even with - 40 points, City would survive this year...

The Forest and Manchester City situations are nothing like each other. The average points deduction has been 4 points per charge. There's 113 charges they've been found guilty of. Forest helped with the investigation. Manchester City have put every hurdle in the way they can.

Knowing the way Manchester City have been so far it could well go on for years still.
