A group of away fans sing a tongue-in-cheek song about their unpopular owners and they've decided that we're apparently bitter rivals. It must be weird supporting a club that doesn't have any proper rivals. Villa and Birmingham don't care about them, and neither do Leicester.

I have nothing against Coventry even though your fanbase seems a bit weird but you were above average in a very poor league last year and even with rusworth and the big defender you don't have one single premier league quality player

We have Lampard who is very experienced in the Prem. He is the one choosing the players and the way we play.

Last season Sunderland were favourites for relegation but finished with a place in Europe. I prefer to wait for the season to start and see the players we will have before making predictions.

Just had his 29th birthday within the last week. But yes we won't be offering a fortune. Would guess about 7m to 8m. Another club would have to offer a fair bit more as we have the sell on clause which is for the full amount and not the normal profit.

We've signed a man mountain defender in Amenda. 6'6" and rarely comes 2nd in the air. The Rushworth signing is about done.

I posted this a couple of weeks ago.
He had NEVER played LW in his career until joining United.

Hamer played most of his game as a CDM with Coventry in a 3-4-2-1

Flicking through the filters on TransferMarkt, it suggests he played 131 times in that position and 135 times as a standard CM (132 of those were at Coventry).
He never played on the left for them.

This is his position map over his career. LM, LW, AM & SS are all for United. Right Back and Right Mid are at Zwolle

So it appears United converted him to a LM from a DM... but, his output at United is far better than when at Coventry (and that includes a woeful PL campaign).

We don't need him for pace. We would need him to find our players that have pace.

You went up with a side without Prem Quality and didn't add Prem quality, yet he stood out for you. We're putting together a side that has a chance against bottom half clubs with help from Lampard.

Our aim is 17th and I think we can make it.

Last season other than when we couldn't even fill the bench through injuries and illness mid season he showed his worth. Top scorers by far and best defence. The project continues. I'm sure his aim is next England manager. Why risk everything to go elsewhere?

Atm you have bragging rights of being a premier league club I’m sure you’ll know that it’s going to be a long tough VAR filled season so make the most of it and if/when you get relegated spend the money wisely because this 2nd time around we didn’t and now we have over paid players seeing out their well paid contracts but not delivering the goods and fans that expect success (as we should). Personally I think the Premier is over hyped unless you’re a top 6 team I enjoy championship football it’s a bit more ‘real’
