Agree with this. I reckon he’ll be fit before the end of the season
But it’s asking a lot for him to slot on, surely it’ll take a few weeks for him to regain his form and understanding again.
I can’t see him starting any more matches this season, might feature on the bench near the end.
Wilder will chuck him on for the last 5 minutes against Preston so he can lift the trophy ;)

I think the idea is not to put him under pressure to get back early,he could be fit before seasons end but that would be a bonus.Once physically fit he has to gain confidence that the leg is strong again .
I would think. (Not being a medic ) next season is realistic ,to play again this season would be a real bonus.

Never seen anything like that - ever! :):):)

Y this one - don't know if meant as insult - but great anyway

"They won't be panicking about anything, Wilder will put an arm around whoever comes in to replace Coutts and build him up to be the player he wants him to be, that what good managers have the ability to do" .

I wonder if the same would have happened if he wore a good old fashioned shin pad instead of that panty pad he hs in his socks. Heal quick Coutssy. Utb
I'd hazard a guess at no!
When I broke mine in 1974 (similar in many ways to Coutts/Sordell incident), I had an old fashioned pair of 1950's shinpads on (cane rods in, horse hair backed, leather fronts). Smashed pad completely, and my tib/fib along with it.
I was 21, and recovered well to play another 19 years at good standard non league, without the after care Couttsy will receive. He'll be fine.

Wolves fan here.

I saw the injury to Coutts on TV and it looked very nasty. I can't believe it wasn't a foul and Sordell wasn't sent off. Sordell has previous as well but nothing will happen and he'll most likely do the same again.

Very impressed with the start you guys have made and also with how you've got Leon scoring goals.

Might you be looking at Ryan Woods from Brentford?

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Get well soon. It was a bad tackle, at the time.

Took 21 minutes for his chant to break out. Brilliant.

Still no expression of sympathy or anything else from the twat who caused the injury?

It appears not.

Maybe if you avoid admitting guilt then you will also not attract the attention of the FA. I am rather surprised he hasn't had some sort of retrospective ban.

Totally agree. I can never fathom why football shin pads are so small! I play field hockey (no smirks please!) and the hockey shin pads cover the full length of the shin - see beneath.

Compare the hockey size with the football ones above right -Liverpool - and you can clearly see the football ones only cover half the shin, hence so many footballers need tape to keep the shin pads in place. Now although you can get some nasty injuries with a hockey stick or ball, its far more likely to get a far worse injury with football and bad tackles, as football is a contact game. I'm convinced that Coutts wouldn't be out for the season if he had a full length hockey shin pad.

The tiny little things seem completely pointless! I had some massive Blades ones when I was kid. More like Cricket pads at the time!

"Them Blades won't be panicking about playing us at S2 trust me."

I like this one the best.

That's a first, every single reply on that thread giving us credit and saying that the OP is talking bollocks.

Must be a shortage of Deludamol in S6 this week.

I think Carloss was first to get to their supply, what with their iffy start being mainly due to poor fixtures, refereeing errors and er.....the planetary alignment of Jupiter's moons*.

Actually quit a good thread on porktalk https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/262855-blades-fans-panicking/ about our post Coutts panic

After applying a lot of disinfectant I visited this thread and was pleasantly surprised to see that , at last, some sense of realism has descended on some of them.

However, the thing that intrigued me most was a click bait headline at the bottom of the page saying they want 18 million for Forest Fairy - ha ha ha ha HA HA HA HA HA '!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having wiped away the tears, I do hope they get it as it would mean that young Master Brooks is now worth umpteen zillion ( not that we should even think about selling him )
