I reckon a loan from the PL is likely to the end of the season and hopefully Coutts will be lining up in our midfield at the Emirates first game of next season and making Ozil look a twat.

Just a quick pointer. Why are Coutts' shin pads so small and high up? Every pair of shin pads I have owned are at least 3/4 of the way a long the shin therefore protecting everything between the knee and ankle.

The psychological affect is what will take the longest to heal and it's totally understandable. From one horrific knee injury to a broken leg. Couttsy has a serious decision to make regards playing again once he's up and about. Is it worth risking permanent damage, to be honest the decision might be taken out of his hands.

I'm absolutely devastated for him and can't stop thinking about it. It has angered me beyond belief. I've watched the video on Sky Sports this morning and my opinion hasn't changed, the cunt never even went to see if he was ok or apologise. If he's going to make a habit out of leaving his foot in, which he clearly likes to do, he needs to not lock his leg when doing so otherwise it'll happen again but then again perhaps he isn't bothered.

Both challenges he has now done in the first quarter of this season need looking at by the FA and it should be a season ban. They are both intentional to hurt an opposition player, the first ended in bad bruising and the second a leg breaker.

But thankfully won’t be a career ending injury.
He should be ready just in time to start pre season training for next season.

Really pleased for him, he’s gone from a Hammondesque under performer to being one of the most consistent and most liked players at the club. Just shows you should never write anyone off, Leon is goimg the same way proving his doubters wrong and I wouldn’t be surprised if Lundstrum ends up being a star performer in our midfield.

I was expecting him not to be training till after pre-season, so for me this is good news, and should mean he’ll be at full strength for next season rather than playing catch-up without a pre-season.

Feel disappointed for Couttsie, team mates, Management team and fans. Coutts has been a joy to watch for last two seasons, put a shadow over things currently. That said all teams get injuries and it’s an opportunity/duty for other players to step up to the plate.

Thing is this winning lark hasn’t half raised expectations, would have been a joy ( still would be) to see this group of players sashée to promotion or play offs come May

But it’s asking a lot for him to slot on, surely it’ll take a few weeks for him to regain his form and understanding again.
I can’t see him starting any more matches this season, might feature on the bench near the end.
