Coutts is probably our most improved player and was playing well until the wigan game, he'll come back around, and all this thread is doing is showing us how fickle our own fans are once again.

My question is, what is he contributing?

He's not:

tackling
shooting
scoring
creating
marking
heading

I agree with you, he had improved, but there's nothing really to show for it.

Sorry but never been convinced and never will. Just waiting for his 3rd pre season for him to come good. Sometimes it's the things you don't see on tv which tell you what a total lack of effort this man puts in.

In fact it's quite simple. If he ever switched himself on we would probably have a player.
