What constitutes a goal from a corner anyway ?
Corner comes in, someone heads it in ?
It doesn't happen that often

Is it still a goal from a corner if a defender heads it out and someone on the edge of the area volleys it into the net ?

I've never been a fan of the assists count either TBH. "Oooh he's got 10 assists...….so what"
It's like Fleck robbing the ball off someone in midfield, sidestepping two challenges, pushing the ball through a third players legs, running towards the area, laying the ball off to the wide man, The wide man mis hits a cross that luckily falls perfectly for Billy to tap home, and the wide man get's the assist. I've never understood it

For the Statto’s: there was a book of football myths that came out a few years ago.

It proved that corners are poor goalscoring opportunities and “ bogey-sides” don’t exist. (At least not the ones fans think are their bogey sides).

It also dismissed ref bias, and the widely held view that “things tend to even themselves out over a season”. They don’t!

It could shatter the delusions of many so I’ll stop there.

Same as the 'former player always scores' theory.

We're always the exception to the rule, who was the last qualifier, Rhodes?

Can’t think of another this season, but always used to happen regularly (think we only signed Leon to stop him scoring against us).
