... with how the vast majority feel right now.

THAT'S why you give yourself a chance in every fucking game.

I'm not saying our momentum has fully gone, but its been hurt. That QPR match suddenly takes on more importance than just the 3 points.

I know we recorded our worst defeat in our history today but fucking Madine!!

Let's face it ;We aren't going to win the FA cup so won't lose much sleep over going out.
Made Barnets year and if we go up be looked upon as clearing the fixture list

Nice to have cup runs but we have bigger fish to fry

I somewhat see what you're getting at, but it also might not affect it in the slightest. It's like two different teams, who just happened to wear the same kit.

Very few of the 11 who start against QPR will have been affected.

It permeates through the club though (in my opinion of course). Just like when we win there's a feel good factor from Chairman to tea boy, when we lose (and three of the first team came on today), it's damaging to morale; particularly a loss such as this one.

Seriously I’m not bothered mate.

Buzzing for the QPR game pal. UTB

No meltdown from me, but I'm bothered that the team didn't show the minimum CW expects from his players - effort, commitment and at the very least to match the opposition up in the basics.

For sure the QPR team picks itself - what this game shows is that we need to keep the "core" team fit and not be able to rely on ANY squad changes to give some a rest.

It was a shocker but I take a lot of positive from the fact that it wasn’t the first 11 playing. Was pretty much a complete different team

Coutts was ok, Dowell was ok other than the we were shite.

Our first eleven will be happy those after their spots didn't shine.it will boost their confidence it could be argued . Plus we've come back after every loss and won

Today confirmed to me we have zero depth in this squad, first 11 and a couple of bench players are good, the rest are a waste of time and stealing a wage.
So if the first team starts to struggle for form and we do drop off, don't expect any of the second team to be able to step up.
The Washington's, Johnsons ect need to get out of this club asap, they are no good, they proved this today!

Tbh the fact we're seemingly signing Madine has dented my morale more than the loss of just about any game would.

Get over it Robbie and give him a chance. He might actually surprise you with how effective he can be.

Blimey, that's some of the best mental contortionism I've ever seen.

Footballers are all about mentality. Such as Duffy Fleck Egan won't give 2 figs about it. They were focusing on QPR before kick off . That will not have changed an iota

Duffy, Sharp and Basham came on and did very little of note. They were part of a losing side today.

If they didn't get affected by today's loss, I'd question their professionalism.

Don’t really care that much which is sad as I always loved the FA Cup but it’s a devalued competition and if a second string side makes eleven changes that tells you everything about its worth.

Not taking any credit away from Barnet who will be buzzing tonight and good on them. That said, the players should hang their heads and I’m not having Wilder placing all the blame on them. We lose as a collective and the manager takes some responsibility for picking that side. If you’re going to change an entire team you should be able to trust the eleven that take the field. It may have been an arrogant performance but given the culture he’s championed during his time with us, that mentality shouldn’t creep in. He shouldn’t let it.

Get what you're saying but I hate this apportioning blame for things that haven't or could've happened anyway that has overtaken this forum in the last few days.

QPR are a good team there's a good chance that if you had a time machine and "accidentally" landed it on Madine's foot so he wasn't fit for a transfer we'd still lose in the alternate timeline. Don't think the cup can be blamed on Madine, and it's just as likely to cause a positive reaction as a negative one if you look back at previous shite performances under Wilder, more likely probably.

Look forwards, don't look for blame, enjoy our first 11 - they give a shit at least haha

When the times right? When will that be because right now I can't think of one and by that comment I don't think Chris can.

Wilder probably thought that there was enough quality in that team to give us a chance. I bet the Leicester City manager felt the same against Newport.

Shit sometimes happens in cup football and it’s happened to us today, although our resident psychics obviously knew in advance that we’d lose today.
