Interesting. He remains a bomb scare for me who has been shakier recently after a (relatively brief) purple patch.

Robinson should never be the answer and making do with mediocrity is a dangerous strategy. We never learned from keeping Doyle and Collins on our books.

We should be looking at other options for LCB, once the heartbreaking inevitably of JOC’s retirement is confirmed. Robinson isn’t the answer, he doesn’t defend or attack well enough in a system which crucially requires someone to excel at both in this position.

Much may depend on Lopata’s potential / future development. But whilst left-footed defenders don’t grow on trees, I would hope there are better options out there who won’t break the bank. Based on his contributions for us, Ben Davies isn’t one of them though.

Keeping JLT woukd likely mean he'd be first choice. He's a good squad option but I'd assume an expensive one.

Much of this rests on money. Assuming we have none and don't go up we'll need to sell Berge, Lowe and a RWB then it would come down to wages.

Happy to keep Billy and Bash for a year but only a year. I suspect there could be longer contracts somewhere else.

Osbourn makes sense of cheap and happy with being a squad player.

We wouod have to replaced while we're up, if we could. The sooner we replace these players, the quicker we rebuild. 2 season of getting spanked in the EPL won't be saved by Billy!
