Fairly solid itk'er on BM claims we've just about certainly got him.

Will be shocked but very pleased if it true.

There's some on here, but some are more tight lipped in respect of their sources :)

Maybe we should have a sticky of ITK'ers success rate. Anyone who first claims a possible transfer get's points based on whether it comes to fruition? :)

That way we know who to believe when rumours are realised?

I said in another thread that I'm not sure about this one. The lad is a reasonable player and it wouldn't break my heart to see him at the lane but I dont understand the excitement about him. Ive seen him in a full 90 three times and he hasnt particularly impressed me. I prefer his partner in crime, Pratley.

I just get the feeling Britton is one of those players who is decent but gets rave reviews because there isnt a lot of quality in the Championship at the moment. Anyone with reasonable ability can stand out in this league. Still........if he comes to the lane and sets the world alight I will be happy to eat my hat.

believe! ;)

Just hope we can keep others from our other targets now :D

Bet beighton is lashing himself silly at the prospect of seeing one of Thatch's legendary boot-boys run down the tunnel. Just don't let him anywhere near the balance sheets though....

Why not? Right winger, experience of European competition...er...any more political/sporting things?

I like the description of Bladesmad as being "slightly feral" :)

I think gradually KB has been trying to get players who can play abit, Harper despite his detractors was clearly brought in to be a passing link man (and point), Willo can play, Evans is clearly better in a footballing team (I hope so), Yeates is intelligent and if coached right we could have a good blend.

I remember Britton being the little guy who everything went through when Swansea came up when Martinez was manager. The one where we didn't touch it for the first twenty minutes but they didn't come in to our half for more than a couple of seconds at a time. Good distribution. Keen little player. I liked the look of him. If we train him to stand close enough to Monty to pick up his winning tackles I think they could be a good pairing.
