Does that mean the fax is not working again?

Leroy Lita saga anyone?
In balance, Sheffield United haven't been the ones putting the rumours out there.
I was referring to the twitter link to the Zoko transfer, I don't think that has been announced anywhere yet. I didn't realise all the disappointment was at the Cofie transfer not being announced.
But have the club said there will be a press conference today to announce anything? The Star says PNE are the favourites to sign Zoko. Disappointing if true, as I think he is as good as there is available at this level.
As for the Cofie delay - typical of our inept senior management really.

It would be bloody hard, considering there was no such thing as a 16-bit Speccy. I have an Atari ST in my parent's loft that would revolutionise the computing power at Bramall Lane, it's theirs for the princely sum of £5.....that would probably blow the transfer budget thoughDon't be so harsh fella's it is a computer problem, don't you realise how hard it is to get spare parts for 16 bit Spectrums

the 16kB spectrum was the entry level one ranging up to the ZX spectrum 3 with 128 kB of ram
theres a piece in the star-`this newspaper understands that it could be upto a fortnight before sir alex fergusons side formally grant permission for cofie to join last seasons play off finalists`Has the fax machine broken down again ?

the fax machine isnt broken-it must be stolen.
ffs
Well if you're going to talk geek speak you had better get it rightwell you should have said you were talking about the 16K spectrum in the first place. KiloBytes refers to the amount of RAM the computers has. 16-BITS refers to the size of the data bus within the CPU.
easy mistake to make![]()
i do agree with 70% of that foxy.It saddens me how much crap people take as the gospel truth at the moment and I'm speaking in general rather than this particular signing.
Regardless of what you've heard anywhere... The fax machine isn't broken, it isn't because we're Sheffield United and "we're shit at transfers", it's simply because it hasn't been completed at the other end as yet.
It'll be announced when it's signed, sealed and delivered and that's also the reason it's still in the rumours section here and we haven't said he's signed on Twitter.
I mean, FFS, major "press conference" and a car park full of coppers and security?
What actually happened is it was the regular, normal, run of the mill press briefing and the oft busy car park was busy.
i do agree with 70% of that foxy.
but`we are sheffield united`and we are still`shit`at bringing players in.sorry, but thats my opinion.
no,it seems season after season that `other teams`be it man utd or brighton, get there targets,or players they set out to sign that are followed by the media.us however be it down to poor publicity from the media,or itkers-but an example of `utds`poor trading skills came about last year-the tale of the 2 scottish lads,ok,it may not have all been our fault, but it makes the club look like fools. What is that opinion built from though?
In this case, what more could we do? drive to Manchester and strong-arm whatever the hold up is?
