Ex Man Utd Youngester on his way in?

Walsall contract rebel Febian Brandy is in talks with Sheffield United.
Manager Dean Smith traveled up to the Manchester area to speak to the lively winger/front man and Brandy revealed had The Saddlers achieved promotion last season he would have stayed without hesitation. The former Manchester United youngster wants to be playing at the higher level.
Brandy has attracted summer interest from Yeovil Town following their Play-off victory and subsequent promotion to the second tier but Brandy is known to want to stay north, having commuted from the Manchester area to Bescot last season.
Despite the player’s claims Dean Smith told Radio WM he believes Brandy will pen a deal at Sheffield United, League One Sheffield United.
This time last summer the offers were not forthcoming for Febian, Dean Smith took a gamble on bringing him to the club, following a string of unsuccessful spells home and abroad. After an early injury, once fit, Brandy rewarded the gamble with a fine half season of displays, but it was just half a season, the only half season in his career at 24 years of age, loan spells away from Manchester United aside. The question is would a club like Sheffield United give a player who has struggled to settle elsewhere the time at Bramall Lane? That is questionable, whereas another season at Walsall Brandy could have a long list of clubs vying for his signature and his bargaining position would be better with a season and a half under his belt.
