In the 4 games that Micky has been in charge, Ched has played every minute.

Considering that Blackwell, Speed and Carver rarely gave him a full game i think it speaks volumes for Micky's opinion of him.

WHatever your views on CHed - and I think he's a very poor player - there can be little doubt that United would love to offload him as soon as possible to get him off the wage bill.

People have to come round to the new reality which many older Blades refer to as 'the norm'.

We are bailing out and it doesn't matter whether MA rates Ched or not. He's in a fortune compared to what we can afford and he's worth 3 or 4 players on the new wage structure.

As for Bent. Give him and MA a chance on this one.

We'll have many dubious signings over the coming months and next season.

MA is in the same boat as Warnock and Bassett were in their early days and remember the volume and quality of siginings we made then. Some will surprise us and turn out to be gems, others will be garbage. At least MA is trying whatever he can given the mess he has walked into.

I bought a pair of marcus bents playing boots on the actual day he was sold to blackburn,at an auction in woodseats from there supporters club base in the WMC.
The evenings guests were Neil Warnock and Gary Sinclair.
Upon sir neils arrival,and amongst the talk of bents immenent departure,all neil would say was`yes,he`s off,and weve a player comin our way who`s our sort of player`.
When asked who the player was`James Thomas`...............christ,he was one to forget.
I ended up pipping Gary Sinclair to ownership of those boots(which had scored many of goals)for 30 odd quid i think,so quite a buy in the circumstances of the days events.
He`s welcome to buy them back if he wants,£600 ono.

After a stint at Swansea, he's not done too well in the footballing world. After Swansea he spent time in the Welsh leagues, and is now seeing success out in Australia. Playing in the fairly poor Australian A-League? Not quite. He is now playing in the Victoria Premier League for Dandenong Thunder Soccer Club. His nickname is apparently 'Smiler', so he doesn't seem too upset to have plummeted into obscurity.

Still, he did score the winner in that cracking 3-2 win vs Preston.

Experience is great but lets face there are alot of players out there with experience but who have the wrong attitude and would rather sit in reserves cashing in large pay checks.

Speed, Naysmith and Hendry. Vastly experienced AND highy rated. Between them more than likely bled us of towards £10M with next to fuck all in return. Experience can be highly overrated.

But just so you know, I think Cresswell is over the hill, and Bogdanovic i don't think has really got started with us yet.

this may just be a signing like that of "deano" in the twilight of his career, an ex blade maye brought in to end his footballing?
top and bottom is we have no money, no backing and very little "pull" in the transfer market, messi turned us down (summat about his contract at Barca, when his contract is up he will come for sure) so obviously next in line to get down at the lane Marcus Bent, let him feel the love and just maybe he might surprise a few sceptics, hes a blade and anyone not backing him should be ashamed, good or bad its ALL about the Blades
