I think the formation change took a few by surprise. At the time of the original post Wilder was looking to play 4-2-3-1, and personally I thought he'd be rotating the lone striker quite a bit. It was also difficult to say how many goals we should be expecting from new signings, not knowing who they'd be and which positions they'd play. Nearly a third of our goals scored by Sharp and 10 league goals from Freeman were obviously the biggest surprises.
