...for wit and sage wisdom
Interesting up to now how few generally, Hussey and Brooks are expected to get. Brooks could well feature more than people think, and if Hussey takes free-kicks he could bag a few.

Anyone would think you work for a bookmakerIf there's loads of predictions on this, it could be a useful (but incredibly simplistic) 'wisdom of crowds' type guide to what price each player should be on the anytime goalscorer betting market.
e.g. if 100 predictions give Billy Sharp an average of 23 goals, you could say he should be Even money to score at anytime. Basham is usually around 11/1 to score so, if that was the correct price, you'd expect him to get an average of 4 a season - wonder how many people will predict that he gets that many?
Loads of things it won't take into account (opposition, venue etc) but I'll find it interesting at least.
Paul Coutts 4
I thought my McNulty would be more outrageousNow Sitters, you know mine and your thoughts are aligned when it comes to Coutts and most football matters in general tbh but I think even given our appreciation of his footballing abilities you've done a typo there haven't you![]()
BB, looks like a few want to get involved. Are you going to run a spreadsheet and weekly updates? As predictions have already been submitted I suggest we all have to fill in the list in post #6 as a start point by KO Satdi. Any additional players between now and then can be added upto KO Satdi. Any players leaving between now and KO are void (total score to be adjusted accordingly allowing for said departures). Goals are for league games only? How do we implement them into Blade56 's system though?
Hussey has 7 goals in 174 appearances so far. The Brooks thing is obviously dependant on how Wilder uses him but I think I might have underestimated how many Scoogall will get us.Interesting up to now how few generally, Hussey and Brooks are expected to get. Don't worry, you won't win, not with 89 goals.
Northampton only scored 82 when they won Lg2 last season..
or do you think i've gone too high??
Too high. Anything above 80 is unlikely, 89 is exceptional. We're not going to be exceptional. Any potent attacking team is made more by their play and creativity than their goalscorers, we have goalscorers but not ones who create that much for themselves, and we don't have enough pace and creativity. Nor do we have a big side so we won't run riot at set pieces.
Everybody seems to be going too high, it's tempting to post what you think individual players are capable of without factoring in anything else.
HA Ha Ha. The wisdom of crowds line had me laughing my nuts off. Thanks for that .If there's loads of predictions on this, it could be a useful (but incredibly simplistic) 'wisdom of crowds' type guide to what price each player should be on the anytime goalscorer betting market.
