Don't get me wrong, I love Chris and think he's done absolute wonders for this football club in his short time here.
However, I've noticed a change in him over the last couple of months and a couple of recent interviews just don't sit right with me.
The first one was the reaction to the defeat at Hull, obviously a shocking result and performance. I felt that he put all the blame on the players by saying he's taken them as far as he can, dissolving himself of any blame despite a questionable starting line up (by dropping Duffy).
And again on Saturday when interview by radio Sheffield he was asked about our form at the end of last season and how the players kicked on with 10 games left, Wilder responded by saying "I kicked them on", again giving the players no credit for what was a fantastic run.
There's also constant digs in many interviews at the boardroom for lack of spending but I can see little digs towards the players as well which surely can't be good when we've got our most important 9 games we've had in years coming up.
I don't think Chris would have responded in this kind of way last season, he's changed his mentality from praising everyone around him which he did quite often last season to openly criticising the players and not taking any of the blame himself.
Just wondered what others think of his recent interviews or whether I'm being overly critical of him here.
