Not going to bother researching it, but if Finchley is indeed an acolyte of “Tommy” then of course he’s a prick. I don’t know whether he is or isn’t but apologies Pinchy, I naturally assumed it was just another victim of your pomposity

No apology required mate and your assumption is understandable.

I wasn’t being hostile to you, just wanting to point out the credentials of the person with whom you were agreeing on what I thought was a related matter, namely people who are ‘a bit of a dick in interviews’ and the irony, nay hypocrisy, of a Robinson apologist making such a claim about someone else.

I wonder if he’ll reply?

In the latest interview on ifollow he is prompted ( after mentioning getting in quality) surely you have got to give a little bit of credit to the players performing well some of whom who were here before you - and responds very well. Blimey if new lad had said that it would be light touch paper and retire!

If radio Sheffield think he's a decent reporter, then there's something wrong, all he seems to do, is look to get a reaction by asking daft questions?
I listen to him and think, "did you actually watch the game, or were you too busy dunking biscuits in your tea, and trying to get attention in the press box?"
He reminds me of one of those nobs in your class at school, that's to busy pissing about to pay attention, and then starts asking stupid questions about everything you've been doing in the last hour, in an attempt not to get a bollocking for not having a clue what he's supposed to be doing.

I believe you give him more credit than he deserves. He is truly clueless
