A very honest assessment of today's game and the season in general!!. You wouldn't expect anything else from our Chris.
It's over to McCabe and the prince now to tell Wilder what he wants to hear!!.
Who knows what the future holds?. I'll still be at bdtbl next season no matter what happens.

Top 10 with bottom 6 budget is one hell of achievement. Wilder has clearly driven the team as far as he can with those tossers in the Boardroom. I really really want him to stay, he's the best thing to happen to BDTBL for a decade but I fear the worst.

If I thought I'd got to go and try my luck at managing that car crash of a club I think I'd be in tears too. He may be frustrated at the impasse down at BDTBL, but if he walks out on us now he'd better not show his face there again (unless he elects for the great 2nd coming)..

At least it wasn't crocodile tears!

Or crocodile shoes

TWATS thread >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Do you know what, Wilder is on a win win for himself here and the incompetent duo running our club are giving him the perfect alibi to walk out without criticism. Is Wilder being a little cunning here?

Make your own assumptions but I believe that Wilder is saying his good byes and possibly wiping tears away

Hope I'm wrong though

He’s applauding the fans as he does at the end of every game, win, draw or lose.

Why are some folk only happy if they are trying to stir up some sort of controversy or conspiracy theory?

Must say that although I have been critical of the last week of interviews that is what I needed to hear. Whether he goes or stays, it was all about everyone collectively and that’s how is should be

HE might be I don't know .....but Chris is like Neil they may be a fan BUT their whole career is in football. So they have to take into account what is best for their wife & family it's not like being an ordinary fan. They have to do what is best for their personal & family life. It's not rocket science is it. Some of our so called fans criticise Neil for saying positive stuff about fans & his team since he left. Of course he will for God's sake grow up & give the guy a break. It's his job / his career whatever club he has been Manager all his squad have always loved him to death. Which is a fantastic achievement. End of.

People will interpret any action based on their own bias.

We'll see in the coming days but to me it would be strange to show that 'pashun' if you're looking to get away.
Why say "pashun " when you mean passion ? It is very codescending stuck up & snooty !

Just watched the Championship programme Channel 5, Micky Gray talking as if it’s already a done deal to Sunderland, if true I’m far from happy.

That’s what worries me is that the deal was done weeks ago when Coleman was sacked. I know he can’t sign anything officially yet but would make kissing the badge just as much an insult as leaving us for fucking Sunderland. Money over ambition, there will be better jobs coming up within the next month

I don't agree with any of that but each to their own.

Just saying that I think his passion for United will always remain and I think him patting the badge is his way of saying that yesterday although I know he does it regularly, but he knows that people might read into things from the badge stuff. I don't think him threatening to leave is about money but about the owners respecting him as a manager and that they need to let him do his job. I don't think he'll go to Sunderland personally but maybe I'm just an optimist!

That's true, and it's not all about munneh. ITK alert:

I was talking to a bloke yesterday who's known CW for many years. CW hasn't rang this fella since Christmas so no 'insider knowledge' here (and Chris would surely have 'leaked' the odd snippet to fuel the fire. But he hasn't said a thing. Some criticise him for this, but I call it class).

Anyway, all my mate pointed out was that Chris hasn't been married long to his second wife and both have kids from previous marriages who are settled at school. They both love Sheffield and, after Northampton, Chris doesn't want lengthy commutes.

My own thoughts are that CW must be tempted but it's a hell of a risk uprooting everything for a job that may well not last. The Sunderland fans won't tolerate anything other than an immediate return to The Championship and the new owner (if this takeover actually happens) might be an 'old mate from his Oxford days' but that won't count for anything if the results don't come pretty damn quick.

Therefore a house move (or lengthy hotel stays) are out of the question with a move that could be precarious. He's young enough to wait for a better managerial job to come up.

I thought Gray was disrespectful and disgraceful.

I agree. Love Wilder but if it’s true he can fuck right off, IF it’s true, if not, sorry Chris.

That pretty much nails it for me :)

Ahh this will be the Micky Gray who was a complete tool as a player but then went to the Tony "use to a thick twat but stick a suit on and attempt to put a plummy accent on and now I am a intellectual genius " Adams school......I wouldn't worry what Micky says
