I was shocked when Hecky put him on the left today. He must be protecting JLT, presumably sicknote Clark is still some way off.
Possibly needed game time and if Clark needs a bit longer then no need to risk Robbo as the one remaining left centre back.

He can do little wrong but that little is increasing. A fantastic servant and clearly still one of the fittest players at the club but something is slowly going missing from his game. He's got a contract until June 2024; however, if he plays more than 10 league games next season something has gone wrong.

Roy Keane on itv before the game yesterday was talking about how Egan has got every possible amount of ability out of the talent he has. I'd suggest Basham has done that and more! I always thought it would be very hard to replace him and am grateful it seems we have while still having him to teach a few tricks of the trade.

Love the bloke. Bash has always been able to put in a decent performance playing almost anywhere on the pitch but that's isn't the case now especially down the left side. I think he'd still do us a decent job at RCB though in fact while Anel is still struggling (from post glandular fever effects?) it might be an idea to give him a run there injuries permitting.

Anyone recall the moment in the Wrexham game where he was under pressure from two of their players and turned past both of them and out of trouble. If that had been JLT it would have ended up in the back of our net.

Another season left on his contract, will be a long shot if we get promoted I think, but hope he reaches that 400 mark before he leaves. He's defo one of those players who could go on untill his early 40s at lower league level.

Was vilified when he first came

Whenever the time comes for him to leave he will be in my top ten blades favourites - no matter what he does between now and then . And I first went through the turnstiles in Sept 1970

If you were in the trenches he would be the bloke you wanted at the side of you .

Bleeds Utd

Top bloke - Top teammate - Top Blade

Love him and don’t care who knows

JLT will also gain cult status
