Higdon was getting some right stick last season, and much of it was deserved. It's not that he wasn't trying, and he's showed that he has an eye for goal. But he looked off the pace and made numerous clumsy challenges. I can't see him being first choice this season. He's a target man, not a speedy striker.

Like a good few Clough brought in last season played them in roles that was alien to them Higdon was one of them.
Play to his strengths then judge him.

Great ball in for Adams goal and he showed good skills bringing it down and a clinical finish lovely composure

I've just sent an email to the Cheltenham SLO to thank them for their hospitality - the stewards went out of their way to be helpful and thank people for coming. It's a small thing but some clubs ahem... cough ** Lincoln **... cough seemed to treat us like a massive inconvenience pre-season.

As someone who's the first to complain about ill-treatment, I thought I ought to put the same effort into praising clubs who've done something well.

Yep - they were really accommodating and cheery with it.
Made a really nice change
Even when Mrs Ken was told off for putting her feet on the seat in front it was done politely and without fuss.

I have to say, in recent years, I always thought the same about Exeter, nice friendly stewards and the fans were always chatty, nice after a five hour drive to get there!
