Watched him for Fleetwood against Wimbledon yesterday and was impressed he looks like he is nearly 100% match fit played quite well and should have scored had his half volley not been blocked. Liked their no.22 ash hunter as well clever tricky little player.

Sat in the away end and there was more abuse towards Evans than there was chants about Wimbledon

James Hanson did well when he came on as well.

He'll be home on boxing day!

He's turning 30 in December, so it's now or never for Ched. A great league 1 player on his day. As I have said before on here, I would be astonished if he came back to Blades and did anything in the championship, but Leon Clarke knocked in loads last season so who knows.

Early days.

I think it's the opposite, most fans wanted him to be a rip roaring success but it hasn't happened.
Read the post I was replying to, it may help understand the post better.

Hope he does well and makes that next step in life to hopefully get it back on track.

why do we care about that hypocrite. same level as paddy kenny & why are some fans so desperate for this guy to do something that isn't realistic

Because its the usual brain dead suspects with their irresponsible "fuck the world agenda". Ched, he'll do what he wants, he'll fuck who he wants cos like me I'll do what I want cos I'm me and fucking free me, like Ched and, Yeah me I'm fucking free me.

No you brain dead cocaine/ketamine/amphetamine addled little cunt, you are actually enslaved to a dangerous mind altering drug or two and 20 years from now, if you are still alive or your brain can still function you might regret being a clever cunt.

From which you might realise Snowman is in a bad mood!!!

Why are some fans so desperate for him to fail!?

I dont want any utd player to fail & I gave ched evans praise where it was due v Walsall last yr when he came on & changed the game we wouldn't have won without him. but since then he has done nothing & he is at the moment a L1 striker at best if last season we had signed a striker from league 2 that had scored 5 goals 3 pf them in august would we have the clammer for him to be 1st choice in the championship, we have outgrown him & no amount of rose tinted wishing will make him better than he is.

What has he said or done that is hypocritical?

the whole girlfriend situation, "I love my girlfriend very much" if he actually believed that or meant that what on earth was going back to welsh hotel with a girl for. what did he think was going to happen. they were going back to hotel room to play scrabble or monopoly have a cocoa then have a handshake & leave. they had 1 thing & 1 thing only there mind. so he can give over on that crap of how he loves his girlfriend

So no one who has had a drunken shag while married, engaged or with someone else loves their other half. Don't be ridiculous.

although I will say still what 6 years later, has their ever been a more diversive player at sheff utd. because I have never known a player where mentioning his name develops strong feelings on both sides

Hold on, last season, he required an operation on his ankle.
We've not seen him play hardly since.
He played pre-season, scored and won us a game! Fact!
He has since been farmed out on loan, and is being monitored.
He had a good game for Fleetwood, and having watched the highlights, he was better than any of our forwards yesterday!
Don't get me wrong, he might not be the answer to our striker problems, but, neather was Clarke in his first season and look what Wilder did there!!
If Wilder can do that with Clarke, then why not with Ched??, and in my eyes, Ched was a better striker than Clarke was, and if he hadn't been forced to stop playing, he could've gone on to be one of the best we've seen in the shirt.

That's interesting because I was talking to a couple of my Cod mates last night and they were less than impressed, said he spent most of the time pointing and shaking his head. As you say, one good piece of skill/opportunity but that was it. Admittedly they didn't play well, they both said Wimbledon were tons better than last season, so still early doors. They both also said Hanson looked good when he came on.
