Yeah, it was a glib comment suggesting Ched should sue Chesterfield for not paying his appearance money, a reference to the various litigation rumours and the suggestions that he should sue everybody from the plaintiff to the jury to Jean Hatchett.

Apology for what? Jess did nothing wrong. She just didn’t want her name dragging through the mud over a subject that had little to do with her. She stayed silent on the issue for a while whilst being hounded before eventually saying she would want to be disassociated if we signed him when asked directly. Agreed, worth noting Charlie is unusually quiet about all this now. I guess she was able to get all the milage out of the story at the time to further her career.

I don't get the hounding of Ennis either. I don't recall her ever directly saying anything about the Evans case other than having her name removed from the stand.

I'm annoyed how her supposed values:

Bean's too media savvy to get caught out. He's been around for a long time and knows exactly how the press works. He doesn't really have to answer to anyone either. There's a huge difference between him and someone who's dedicated their childhood to a sport and has been thrust into the limelight through her achievements.

As I've said on this thread already, real life isn't a fucking cartoon with heroes and villains, it's not all black and white and bears little resemblance to anything portrayed in any form of media. Unfortunately, it seems that people spend so much time watching TV and fucking around on computers that they can only think in these defined terms and feel that their opinions are always valid, even if they only have knowledge of 10% of what has actually occurred or why things might have ended up how they have.

I suspect this has always been the case and explains the need for religion but that's not for this board.
