I'd bet that Ched will score more goals next season than Rhodes :D

Freeman will score more goals than Rhodes . This bloke will turn out to be a albatross around S6 neck if they cannot pull out of the transfer deal with Boro .

Is it Rhodes or the tactical system they play that is shite or both .

Evans giving advice to women?
Not only is that utterly stupid, who is advising this guy?

I have to say the media's behaviour throughout this saga has been nothing short of atrocious, regardless of what side you are on. So I'd take whatever they say with a pinch of salt until they produce conclusive evidence. Ched has one of the best legal teams and advisers in the country (if not the world) who against all odds overturned the conviction leading to him getting his old job back. On balance, I would be very skeptical about today's so called news

The Donald Trump defence? Really?
What would his legal team have to do with what he says to the media now?

Nearly all footballers regardless of their situation have legal advisers. A lot of the media has been completely fake on this issue, I think most would agree. This hysteria, whilst regrettable, will die down in a couple of days. When he scores or gets called up for Wales expect similar crap to come out again

Alright so I've actually read the article and subscribed to the Times, you can do the same here: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/evans-sends-out-warning-on-return-to-former-club-mzjcdkhxm

Firstly this story was published several days ago, why has it come up now? Secondly, there is no indication whatsoever that this was an interview with the Times.

It mentions that he has been working with the PFA this past year over advising players about this issue, that's where I suspect the leak came from if indeed he has been there.

Absolutely no creditable source whatsoever cited in any articles, they just refer it to the Times who in turn just say 'Evans said....' However the journalist David Walsh did get Evans' first exclusive interview last year and has been relatively sympathetic towards his plight.

On balance...its not something to get worked up over

If Ched Evans wants to use the whole ordeal that he went through, and make some good happen from it then we should all be behind it.

It doesn't matter what has happened or how it looks or who vilifies him for it... if one lass stops and thinks and avoids a potentiallsly horrific experience then it's worth it.

Don't get drunk ladies or some random bloke might turn up at 4am and who knows what might happen then.
Nah, he's never going to be the right person to be doling out advice to women on this.

Jean Hatchet speaks! Even she questions the absurdity of the situation where the Times comment came from, but goes along to believe that they happened.

Is it too much to ask these days for just one source of where a set of comments were made from? Till then it can be classed as 'Fake News'

She's saying it's absurd that Evans would be so stupid.
Why are you asking where the comments came from when they're comments from Evans to a journalist who knows him?
I think the journalist is also the guy who did for that cyclist fella and is highly rated.
It's about as far from fake news as you can get.
Evans should just shut his trap, accept there are lots of people who don't accept what he did was just a bit immature and get on with trying to rebuild his career by playing football and only talking about football.

just a bit immature! I knew right from wrong from about 10 years old. Even if he has been cleared of rape. He acted with complete contemp to the girl and the situation. Get her in a taxi home was the simple bit of action that should have been taken by Ched and his mates. They acted like a pack of wolves. He has served time for it though, and been slated in the media. So I'm willing to agree that he should be allowed to get on with his life and try and move on. But I'm not thrilled by having him back. Simply as a father really.

He has done just that, this is an old interview, done before he signed for Chesterfield

When and where did he make these exact comments? The article doesn't even say 'in an interview' or 'speaking to a journalist' its merely states 'Evans said...'. To who? Why? In what context?

I suppose a journalist who knows Theresa May could write an article in the same way without being questioned?
