Kennedy, Wallace, Coutts and Cuvelier are probably in the last chance saloon. They will most likely have the remainder of the season to prove they are both fit enough and good enough to be worth keeping on and if they can’t that will be that. Coutts might get longer if we can’t find a taker as I think he has another year on his contract.

The situation with Coutts is different for me, he actually has shown he can play a run of games. The recent injuries seem to stem from not building up fitness before being put into a consistent starting spot by Clough. He has made as many appearances as Kennedy, and more than J Wallace, despite only signing in January. We just need to see if he's any good or not once given the chance to get fit.

Yeah I agree with that Olly. For Kennedy and Wallace, it's about proving they can play the number of games needed to make them useful. With Coutts, it's more about proving he can perform at the standard required to be useful. With Cuvelier, it's probably both at this stage.

When you see them playing in a proper stadium you can see how shit the u-21s league is. It's no surprise kids can look fantastic at that level but struggle to step up to even L1.

I like Coutts but tbf in that run of games he was playing at half pace with others doing the running for him. That's not an option any more.

"He needs a good pre-season." Should be lighting things up in 2016-17.
