Love him or loathe him. What a great goal he scored. Can’t remember the last time we scored a goal like that with an instinctive bullet of a shot from out of the area. What a complete surrender today’s game was.

We probably get as many chances in and around the edge of the box as other teams. Trouble is we either don’t pull the trigger or when we do the results are woeful.

che adams terrorised us in this fixture last season know hes a t**t but hes just the type of striker we havent got skill pace and power our 3 strikers we have spent 50m on dont come anywhere near him

The finish was unreal but fuckkk me what about that build up! If a goal sums up our season that is it. I was laughing when it went it. Comedy of errors capped off with an individual mistake.

he's scored 4 in 3 games against us. His last goal for them was against us in the reverse fixture

Prolific he ain't but he sure looks more like a striker than anything we've got

Post match Wilder said that Che was a loose cannon when he arrived but now looks like a proper center forward and it was probably the right decision for him to leave Sheffield United...

Hurts to hear 😔

(are we no longer good enough to develop players?)

Why would we loathe him?

It's not like he forced a move away from the club.

Sorry, but he is just about my least favorite former player. Everything about him is horrid. Good Player, but that is beside the point.
"Everything about him is horrid". That's quite the statement. Is it just 'cause he tends to score against us?

Football is a game of prejudice, isn’t it? Some players you naturally like, some you don’t. Adams was a weird one even when playing for us. He never seemed to buy into the club and he isn’t exactly a poster boy.

Similar examples of players I irrationally dislike: if we play Liverpool, I always feel if Mane scores, fine, but Salah annoys me. If Calvert-Lewyn scores fine, Richarlison, damn, twat.

Adams is in that camp of players I dislike. Preferred Lampard to Gerrard. Westwood over Dawson. Long list of irrational judgment calls.

Hudds Play-off: felt for Lowton and Williamson, but quite annoyed with Taylor who I never took to before. Even though his penalty was the only one I would have classified as unlucky.

So yes, it obviously perpetuates the irrationality if he scores every time. But the dislike predates his scoring streak.

Not sure this explanation helps you guys. Because even I cannot work out a pattern in who to dislike or like. If I had to label the common thread, I’d call it flakiness. 😀

Thought his reaction to fleck’s fowl was superb. Imagine salah; he would have been flagging down an ambulance to a&e and got jf sent off.

Look Adams was young and badly advised. Probably not the sharpest either but maximised his talent and deserves days like today. Wish our lads did similar.

I personally preferred the foul itself to the reaction. 😜

But yes, technically you are right. He did not milk it like several other players would have.

Here is my middle ground olive twig offer for peace: Adams and Lunny drew for second place as my least favourite people on the pitch today.

Paul Tierney again took the biscuit for gormless malfunction. He just does not understand footie, I feel.

He was being polite as usual. No one ever doubted his quality on the pitch. It was his lifestyle away from the club. Him and that dumpling bought from Burnley to replace Maguire. Mcgahey was it?

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
True it tells you our transfer 'policy' up front has been a disaster.

Its part of the reason the Prince wants a DoF...it may not work any better but as an owner of a business what's he supposed to do ? Hope it will work next time or try and do something about it ?

Personally I'm not a fan of it but any business owner will change track when they see massive investment not paying off.

I wish he was still here.

Does anyone really use the word "horrid" any more? Maybe I'll sqweam and sqweam and sqweam until I make myself sick.

Whatever next? Che Adams is a Miscreant and a ne'erdowell and he should not be offered the King's Shilling?

Sorry mate Lunny hands down.
Wish fleck had saved that challenge for him instead.
