Before I go back tomorrow I have a few hours left before I can get the train. Was not planning to visit Bramall Lane because this trip was mainly to sort things out for my application, but since i'm here anyway I might actually go already to have a first look before next season.

On the site they say there are stadium tours but no dates or times. No matchday tomorrow, so my question is: Are there any people working in the stadium on non-matchdays or just the fanshop?

Sometimes you will find a floodgate open, and the groundsman in there preparing/maintaining the pitch. I've been through that way in the past, and had a very good chinwag with one of them. Maybe it helped that I had my little un with me, but worth a try if it's open.

I think the stadium tours are only on matchdays.

The big gate down between the south stand and the hotel is usually open. Have a wonder in, done it myself a few times, can’t see the groundsmen taking much of an issue so long as you don’t get up to anything you shouldn’t.
