Last couple of games I’ve been bored to death watching us almost wait for the opponent to score.

Above all else all a lot of us really want this season is entertainment. And we are showing bits and pieces of that this season but hardly in abundance.

I’ve been bored to death watching United, especially last season and even in the last promotion (funny but true in most games apart from that little genius).

All I’d fucking love is the handbrake off and to see us attack, have fun and score some goals.

The defensive record and run is cool, but it doesn’t put bums on seats.

Come on Chris, take off the handbrake and let’s get some fun back at the Lane.

Certainly worrying signs

A chairman who won’t invest

A manager who is setting limits rather than standards

In terms of for all on the pitch we’ve seen this mode before

Pass it around at the back int o midfield and backwards and sideways

Clueless in attack and forget through balls they don’t exist

It is boring to watch and it's down to manager and coaches to change it, it seems like Wilder is picking players with no tactics or system of play just hoping they gel. This is the test of a good manager, how he deals with a bad run, over to you CW

wilder can stop this nonsense of the back 4 just passing it sideways and backwards to each other in our own half move it forward quicker and more tempo in our play its down to him to change tactics

There's no support for Moore once he's in possession, who can he lay it off to?
McBurnie got plenty of players around him in the box,we are wasting a very good CF by not playing to his strengths thus whats the point of whipping a quick cross, hes not Deano who had to cross it then get on the end of his own cross and normally score. The set pieces? Are if we have any are shite, considering the big lads we have in the side. The shortfalls in the squad are now glaring obvious. Unfortunately Pecks been exposed as not yet up to speed at this level,it's unbelievable the times he gets caught in possession, do they talk to each other?O'hare is another who's choice of pass and obsession of taking on that extra man is the reason he's not playing at a higher level, that's not exciting it's frustrating, like the OP said its not exciting I remember when CW 1st took job and said he had noticed more people on their phones than watching the game, that he was going to get United playing football which got bums off seats,He did with his flying wingbacks, but that got found out,and CW had no Plan B,So come on CW/AK sort it,Great start but the clubs heart has been ripped out by the tragic death of GB,we need the team and CW to lift this dark cloud over our club and do it for Us & George

Wilder said it was a good game between 2 top sides so he disagrees with you. He must have had the Bayern v Barca game on his iPad.

I think one of the most disturbing dynamics is that we are not offering any type of confidence that we can or will score when we go forward. I don't have any expectatation we will score when we finally get the ball forward.

I havn't felt this for a long, long time. Even in the Prem I had feelings we could score but this season I don't have any.

Strange feeling.

We do not have any quality strikers at all. Moore is a journeyman that is in the twilight of his career and only came to us instead of Hull at the minute as we offered more money. Campbell is clearly no good as proven at Stoke. Brewster needs no introduction - very nice lad but nowhere near championship quality even when fit. Wilder must have thought that Hamer and O Hare would provide the goals. Hamer is at this time bang out of form and O Hare has been dire. Our only bright spark has been Sakyi.

Rak Sakyi, Brooks, Hamer, O'Hare, Seriki, Arblaster, Souza, Burrows,
Now is the time for a foreign manager that allows a bit of football to break out in amongst the boring turgid fearful shit.
Never know, a foreigner playing with a bit of style might get a tune out of Brewster as well just before he fucks off somewhere else for nowt

4-4-2 is the obvious choice against poorer teams but we've not signed the players to play it.

We need two upfront but that then means dropping Hamer/O'Hare or playing one behind the striker.

It's a team full of players instead of players who make a team.
