Let's face it, he's our best striker for whatever the style of football is we play.

He is the quickest, probably the strongest, best with his feet. And the only one who can create his own chances really.

He wasn't dropped, he got injured. Before that was the only time all season we've looked a good football team. He was in the team the only time we've scored 3 goals (lol).

For me, regardless what you've paid for Cannon (a player that as it stands just doesn't suit us at this time) you play the best player for the role. And at this moment that's Campbell.

He worked hard to get that spot upfront and scored some important goals, he should be rewarded in kind by getting another run and see if we improve as a team for it.

Let Cannon get up to speed from the bench, it might benefit him in the long run. No square pegs in round holes ffs

Get good old Kieffer back in ASAP and put Campbell and Brereton either side of him. Maybe. Then at least when our great football isn't working we can pumpitforad. Souza and Davies in CM with Hamer just ahead. We need to stumble on something that sees us score more, otherwise we won't go up. This is worth a try but we'll see nothing like it

I agree. The upcoming games are too important for bedding players in. Play the guys who can produce now.

We are quite clearly slowly building up his time on the pitch post injury.

He is not going to be playing 90 minutes in a 3 game week. I dont think he has managed one game of 90 minutes yet.

In fact that was the joint 5th longest he's played all season

Disagree, rak-sakyi needs to be at right wing, the difference in that right hand side yday was incredible once he came on, not to mention he scored

Campbell hasn't had a full 90 all season there's got to be a reason for that.

Luckily now there's not many midweek rounds of football only 2 and Leeds moved to Monday night

Should've squared it

Or knocked it round the keeper.
Made an awful mess of it, and you'd usually back him from there.

With the greatest of respect to Cannon, Campbell has to start for us.
He knows how to link the play and he makes runs that open things up.

Cannon has only just turned 22.
We don't need to force it with him, he's on a long-term contract. He clearly has some talent, but let's ease him in and not put too much pressure on him.
I hope his injury isn't too serious as he will be needed.

Iheanacho was making some great runs and I was wishing we'd gone for him. Campbell comes on and shows he's probably better.

I was obviously angry he didn't pass it at the time but he is a goal scorer. I can accept the occasional greedy decision if overall he gets goals. He has been very good this season.

Would definitely be a good idea for Campbell to start always looks dangerous

Tonight he showed he's our best striker, bar the selfish miss. His runs bring the best out in our creative players. CBs are shit scared of him.

The lad is clearly not fit or he'd have started far more games. Nobody should be expecting him to start given this factor.

I expect Cannon to start at Luton, wouldn't be surprised if it was Brewster either.

Impact sub for me with maybe the odd start in away games.

Won’t be Cannon as he is now injured - likely to be Brewster with Moore / Campbell to come off the bench.

I’m afraid Cannon just looked “lost” all night. Can’t see what he gives to the team and looks like a mistake on present showing. Really hope I’m proved wrong. At moment Campbell head and shoulders above Cannon.

It will be Brewster as Fodder is out injured..................or could we be surprised and see Moore...Wilder did say he would be involved for the Luton game.

How many were shouting at the TV at home (or in the ground) PASS IT!!!
Bollocking up a 2 versus zero takes some doing. However, despite that, I feel he is our best striker at the minute, his movement, energy and pace set him apart from the rest.
