i didn't realise that norwich was after jerome aswell. but norwich have mcveigh, ashton and huckerby has there main strike force; so i dont no wether he would get first team football there?????

I'm starting to think that the joke about Warnock buying all the strikers might have been more Blackwell's influence!!!
Someone said earlier in the thread that Jerome would struggle to get in Norwich's starting 11 but wouldn't people think the same about us? Just looking purely on the stats, Kabba and Ship on 9, Webber on 7, it would seem Jerome would struggle to get in our first team but of course we know different. Webber's RW ability, Kabba's inconsistency / iminent departure, Ship's odd fatigue bouts...
Oh, and still reading the Mirror, are we Silverfox?!

The United manager wants to make at least three new signings this month to ensure the promotion bid is not derailed by injury or fatigue.
Cardiff City's Jerome is among those being considered by Warnock, with sources in Wales suggesting that although at least two other clubs are keen to secure his services, the young international would prefer a move to South Yorkshire.
Warnock refused to divulge the names on his wish-list after last night's triumph at the KC Stadium, but did admit: "I'd love to bring one (a striker) in.
"I'm not going to say who I'm looking at but I am a big believer in fate.
"We'll just have to wait and see what happens, if it will be then it will be."

Reports are that the player is very interested in signing for us. But the club want to hold out for a better deal. I think Mr McCabe should lay an offer for 2M up front with another 1M depending on appearances and goals ect.....cos I think he would prove to be an excellent signing, and I think he has the potential to be a good prem player, and if worse comes to worse we'd probably make our money back plus more, if we end up selling him.
Mr McCabe is a very honest man, but sometimes you have to try not to be, we need to unsettle Cardiff and get Jerome to put in a transfer request, I know that's bad, but Kenyon has done it for years and got away with it.
We can not afford to not sign anyone with that much ability, I just hope something is done, cos we really need to bolster the squad now for 2 reasons.
1 - To make sure we get up
2 - Start preparing the team for the prem.
