I'd have absolutely no problem with that direction of travel. We need some utility men. I'm struggling to think of any in our current squad - Osborn / Basham at a push?

Maybe, think a Turkish team are interested, and Blackburn definitely are.

Not sure where he'd play, Barnsley had him at LWB where he played well, but their fans think moving him into midfield was one of the reasons for their downfall?

Noticed Besic is at Ferencvaros now. We'd have too many midfielders when/if they all got fit, but someone of his type would have been handy at the moment.
