CONFIRMED Callum O'Hare - signs for Wrexham

[RMBlade]

Not good enough, they should already be in place before we sanctioned the move. Absolutely schoolboy, from the cowboy owners.

Have we sold O’Hare already or are you just flouncing about something that hasn’t happened yet?

[ATL Recs]

Who says we haven't? The window isn't closed yet, and COH hasn't even been announced at Wrexham.

We will absolutely have contingency options in mind, and pursuing those now. The big question is how good they end up being.

But we will definitely not allow COH to go and the window close without bringing in someone with creativity to play a similar role.

there’s no money to spend so whoever is in your continuing plan will be over the hill or a loan
But consider even then they are more likely not to want to come to a club asset stripping, as we are

[Lucky1979]

And if his form declines? Or he gets injured?

Sod it, sell everyone now just in case form declines or they get injured

[NerdyBlade]

Sod it, sell everyone now just in case form declines or they get injured

No, that's not the point I'm making at all

Do I want us to keep COH? Of course, but at the same time - we need funds. I don't think the Peck bid we wanted ever materialised

[Blade56]

What’s betting owners cough up the money they owe PA

[3Cheers4Ramirez]

Can't ask for any more than 7m for him

[Green7361]

What’s betting owners cough up the money they owe PA

I can see that happening or certainly a portion of it and then the rest from the sales in the January transfer window. Hope PA and his glove puppet enjoy spending it, was happy to get rid of us to literally anyone.

[crucialkneeligaman]

This makes absolutely no sense.

What are we wanting them to address us about? Are we wanting a statement every 5 minutes?

This is implying that we're only paying wages by making sales, which won't be the case. To say so with certainty would require insider knowledge

Not how anything works.

Again - they're owners, not fans. What are you expecting from them?

We are facing a 12 point deduction, yet you don' t think it is worth addressing the supporters about. Wouldn' t expect a statement every five minutes, but other than when they bought us, when have we heard from them. Your last sentence is bizarre !

We aren't facing a deduction - even Wednesdays number 1 fan Simon Jordan has said it's a commercial dispute

I really do wish people would stop banding the deduction around like its some confirmed thing

[Houso]

I'd take the bet that they won't. They can't use any of this cash and COH Sports Bidco Limited has been wound up.

That's not how football clubs work. They don't get a portion of player sales, they're not landlords of a pub

[redandwhitewizard]

Don't worry we'll get him back when he's 35, injury prone and legs have gone.

When people can no longer afford the lifestyle they once had they might downsize their house , holiday less frequently or not replace the car as often is that asset stripping or simply living within their means ?

The club has a budget , we have rules around expenditure that they try to balance with being competitive and the expectations of supporters and their magic money tree.

Most want a club thats sustainable, to stay within the rules and will be here for generations to come but many want expenditure that risks it.

We cant have it all .

Its a balance we need to strike and do the best we can with what we have .

Ok so why did we spend loads of money on a load of shit cars/holidays/houses last season when we knew we would be in this financial situation now?

If you want balance, buying McGuinness, Matos, Chong and all the AI shite we spunked money on last season feels pretty unbalanced.

Now we’re in a situation where we’re lumbered with the shite car that doesn’t run, the house that’s falling apart and a holiday to Pontins, and we’ve had to sell O’Hare, Brooks and Hamer…

[Gin&Juice]

haha

I honestly think no one at the club properly understood the incoming SCR rules. It would also explain why we panic sold Brooks before the new rules went live (we could book the profit in the current year, whereas under SCR you have to amortise incoming fees over the next 3 years).

Because you have to take risks in football when it comes to signings. Unless you have the money for guatanteed, proven players - you have to take risks.

Also - Hamer and Brooks were in the last years of their deals. They were always going to be sold. COH is currently the only unnecessary sale

[The Hobott]

This isn't just sour grapes but i did think he tended to run about in circles quite a bit

[YES Blade]

And if his form declines? Or he gets injured?

Sell Burrows? Peck? Seriki?

I’m sure if we’re desperate for cash we’ll find someone to sell

[NerdyBlade]

Have any serious bids come in for them?

[YES Blade]

Have any serious bids come in for them?

I’m sure we could sell anyone if the price is low enough.

[NerdyBlade]

I’m sure we could sell anyone if the price is low enough.

except we haven't, which is why we rejected the Seriki bid from Italy

Facing a 12 point deduction, not we have a 12 point deduction, how is that confirming things. I do admire the fact though that you must be the only Blade that speaks up on behalf of the American shysters.

No, we aren't facing a deduction. Again, it has been thrown about but there's absolutely nothing concrete that we're even being threatened with one

I do admire the fact though that you must be the only Blade that speaks up on behalf of the American shysters.

I can guarantee you, I'm not speaking up nor defending them. What I am doing is looking at this logically, with the facts presented to me.

You know, how you're meant to?

[CPB]

Having a very quick look at a transfermarkt.

Wrexham will have spent by the end of this window 40m in euros.
Last season they ended up spending 39m in euros.

This is just fees. That is parachute payment type money being chucked about, without any sales.

I know they have good backers but how are they managing to navigate the spending rules?

[Blade56]

haha

Being discussed internally, not externally just internally.

Watching deadline day and I’m betting half a billion quid has exchanged hands this window and we can’t afford to keep what we’ve got

[Kev Gee]

Some serious lack of planning from COH sports or whatever they are called.

Unless the plan is to sell anything worth some £ and replace with loans and frees.

Serious problems this season ahead.

[3Cheers4Ramirez]

Don't worry we'll get him back when he's 35, injury prone and legs have gone.

Nah, he'll retire at 33 to become a full time spice boy

[HeySethUTB]

Have we sold O’Hare already or are you just flouncing about something that hasn’t happened yet?

Yeah. He’s signed 3 year deal at Wrexham, option of a further year extension. £7m

[SB_90]

what is going on at the lane. i know from press conferences wilder is furious. he categorically stated no one will leave. but also we have looked pretty toothless upfront so now have sold our 3 best attacking talents

every year. there is a big team that drops or is in danger & i fear we are in big danger of this being us. any team losing hamer brooks & o'hare + our current form would struggle to score goals

[Captain Obvious]

Why are they in such a rush to sell before a replacement is in? …unless there won’t be a replacement.
