My expectations are quite low after all these years. So certainly not holding my breath in anticipation.
But I'd rather try and be positive about it until the end of the transfer window.
Either way there is feck all I can do about it so, worse comes to the worst I'll be grumpy for a few hrs then we go again. Isn't much choice in my book.
Not like I am going to throw a tantrum and say ''that's me done'.
Been here many times before.
Sounds like you've seen alot of this before and life moves on. P.s. all our expectations are low, it's all how you deal with it.

Surely we’ve known for a while that O’Hare could go, so why haven’t we got a replacement lined up? If it’s a financial issue, then why spend money on Choudhury? An attacking midfielder/winger has always been a higher priority than another defensive midfielder.
Who says we haven't? The window isn't closed yet, and COH hasn't even been announced at Wrexham.

We will absolutely have contingency options in mind, and pursuing those now. The big question is how good they end up being.

But we will definitely not allow COH to go and the window close without bringing in someone with creativity to play a similar role.

I heard earlier today a team stated a player is available but only if they get a replacement in. Why couldn’t we have done that at this late stage.

When people can no longer afford the lifestyle they once had they might downsize their house , holiday less frequently or not replace the car as often is that asset stripping or simply living within their means ?

The club has a budget , we have rules around expenditure that they try to balance with being competitive and the expectations of supporters and their magic money tree.

Most want a club thats sustainable, to stay within the rules and will be here for generations to come but many want expenditure that risks it.

We cant have it all .

Its a balance we need to strike and do the best we can with what we have .

The lack of rumours on here doesn’t exactly give me much confidence that transfers are likely.

Wrexham are in the top 2/3 of spenders in the league. It doesn't excuse us selling him if we've no decent replacement but time will tell on that.
We’ve always done that.

You glt to admire the way Bournemouth went about it last year. Only let players go once the replacements were in.

Femi Azeez £15m to Brighton 18 goal contributions in a side that finished in the playoffs. Thats the marker.

Callum O’Hare 16 goal contributions in a side that finished midtable. If he goes for anything less than £10m we’ve had our pants pulled down.

3 years younger and a better footballer, would be more capable of making the step up (has pace).

I really admire your confidence and conviction- bravo 🤩.

Is this your first season supporting Utd ?

(Only a joke)

No problem with us working to a budget, it’s how we’re using that budget that I’m struggling to understand.

With Hamer, Brooks and (possibly) O’Hare leaving, we should’ve prioritised attacking players, it’s not enough to only sign Donovan and BBD.

Did we really need to sign Jairo, Phillips and Choudhury? Could we have signed 2 out of the 3 and signed another winger or attacking midfielder instead?

The annoyance of selling our best players has been compounded by not replacing them and bolstering the squad in areas that didn’t need it as desperately.

Stoke were originally doing that with Thomas. No replacement came, so he's now refusing to play

Oh, the sweet innocence of youth and the eternal dreams of hope as the pure heart pounds for expectant joy and celebration.

Don't ever change.

Not a ST holder but unfortunately already have a ticket for tonight so I feel obliged to go but its the last thing i feel like doing. There have been so many downs supporting this club over many years and now another massive downer. It's not just the selling of one player but the cumaltive effect of the decisions made by these shysters over the past 18 months. i havenever considered myself a quitter but I really now have had enough. I feel for all those who have committed by buying season tickets
Dont , i will always have a season ticket and be going at home . It called supporting your team . Thick and thin andxall that bollocks. Each to their own though

Not good enough, they should already be in place before we sanctioned the move. Absolutely schoolboy, from the cowboy owners.
So we don't sell COH - who else do we sell to either bridge the financial gap or get us new signings in? Who else have we had offers for?

Big risk but might pay off as have had Man City help previously and currently, Finlay Gorman (yes I know only 17) but he is a fantastic player and great potential, might need to back it up with a less risky option but could make the difference and give him the 1st team football rather than development squad.

Work still being done!! We should have had the car on the road ready to set off and get whoever it might be. We have to sign at least one attacking midfielder. And hope we can hold out until January.

there’s no money to spend so whoever is in your continuing plan will be over the hill or a loan
But consider even then they are more likely not to want to come to a club asset stripping, as we are
