What if they said we’ll give you a generous fee for O’Hare and if you accept well clear be path for you to get Souttar.
What would you do?

Absolutely fucking not!

We can’t create anything as it is.

Yes we need a defender but them stepping a side doesn’t suddenly lower Leicesters asking price to a level where Souttar suddenly becomes a risk free signing.

We need to keep COH and bring in a defender.

Ok with this if the price is right ,Has a bad habit of running into crowds of players and his one touch knock on are a joke apart from that hes ok

O’hare needs to be about 10% more selfish imo.

To me, Too often he looks to find another player rather than taking a touch and shooting when he’s in a really good position. He could quite easily get to 10/15 goals if he was A bit more ruthless in front of goal.

Overall an excellent player for us. Who never stops running. We’ll miss him if he goes.

I think with the right coaching he could be made selfish, but even without he's too creative a player for us to let go this late in the window

As others have said its who can we get in also and what system does Wilder want? It seems Wilder is preferring two up top and wingers in which case that renders O'Hare somewhat redundant.

If we sell O'Hare and get a quality winger in for the right wing, given Chong is too injury prone and inconsistent and Donovan raw then I'd be ok with it. Bear in mind O'Hare is in the last year of his contract this time next year.

I'd be less keen if it was a loan replacement for OI'Hare because it's continuing short termism especially considering it's unlikely we can go up this season. Also is still like yo see another forward come in unless we can get more from Campbell or Cannon.

good points there booker if wilder wants to play 442 with 2 out and out strikers cant see a spot for coh have to say im not one of his biggest fans as another poster has said he turns in to trouble far too often but cant see wilder letting him go this window next year at this time it could be a different story

It’s funny isn’t it? Two most saleable assets to a degree are O’Hare and Cannon.

Now we have BBD for the left, I don’t really see many scenarios where they play together.

If you play 4-4-2 then COH doesn’t get in.

If you play 4-2-3-1 then Cannon doesn’t play.

If you play 5-3-2 then O’Hare doesn’t play.

If you play 5-3-1-1 then Cannon doesn’t play.

Only if we adopt 3-4-1-2 can you get both of them in.

There is an argument for selling one of them and getting a more compatible player.

I like him, but for all my what ifs on these threads, I wouldn't be open to selling him unless it was generally accepted that a bid was unturndownable. It would have to be 8 figures and I don’t see that for a 28 year old.

What he does need to do is control the ball better. It seems to take him an age to get t under his control and some of his passing on Saturday was terribly inaccurate.

5-3-2 like we had before in Wilders first spell could have O'Hare in the Duffy role? However I can't see Wilder using this as he hasn't fir years regularly. I expect 4231, 442 or possibly the 3142 which he did at Swansea I think. I quite like that myself personally but I think it's still using wing backs not wingers so that wouldn't allow Donovan or Chong to play!

I know Wrexham can spend a lot but there policy seems to be on players in their late 20's, early 30's and there's little sell on value. The income stream they have must be huge to afford £60m spending in three Championship windows. Is this all from we are Wrexham or whatever it's called?

The only positive I can see to selling O'Hare, apart from that he might not be suited to Wilders tactics, is that at least we might have some cash to spend on a decent replacement/forward players. It at least provides some excitement to the most boring and disappointing summer transfer window ever, although I appreciate that sounds very ironic if we lost O'Hare as part of the process.

Wonder if we could get Hamer back on loan?! 😂

Sell and we deserve to be relegated.

Anyone saying that COH "doesn't suit Wilder's tactics" needs to look at the bloody manager rather that one of the best three players we have at the moment. What "tactics" are these exactly, to bore the opposition into submission?

Sell and we have no chance of bringing in anything like a decent replacement. Who the hell wants to come here and play in this boring, tedious system for a club in regression? We'll probably only look at past players anyway as it seems that's all our recruitment team can manage.

Wilder may well keep us up this season but players like COH are essential if we expect to create chances and score goals.

The club will be thinking selling O Hare now is the max value we can get for his as he moves towards his final year. However, moving him on, when we are already a void of creativity with little or no time to replace is madness. Every game would end up being attack vs defence and we will be in and around the relegation zone if we do this.

It all depends who can can sign as a replacement ultimately and also whether that's with a winger or number 10.

10m for Ohare I’d take but I don’t trust these owners or wilder to spend that on players as brooks and hamer haven’t been replaced yet so I’d keep him at this moment in time

If Callum goes we are going to find it near on impossible to get a replacement in before tomorrow night - unless we have one already lined up? 👀 😂😂😂

I think we probably have several. Just waiting for the Docs and fitness team to do an in depth medical although l do hear the signing of the amputee as further back up for Doherty and Shackleton could now be in doubt, despite Hoylands faith in him.

I’ll guess that he probably won’t go this window, but it will be revisited in January where a deal becomes far more likely. Positions of both clubs, O’Hare entering into his last 18-months being factors.

I disagree with one of the best 3 players we have, and raise it to "one of the best players in the division"

On his day, he's fucking unplayable

im pretty sure if anybody offers 10m for coh we would sell im not his biggest fan i have to admit the number of times him and peck turn straight in to trouble in midfield giving possesion away but with major doubts about the money being reinvested i think we have to hold on to him

Money talks. If our valuation is met, he goes, end of. Wilder knows this, Bettis will have told him so, hence the "vulnerable", statement in his previous press conference.

It depends on the fee, add ons etc. A silly fee, 10m plus, grab it and run. 5m and below...foxtrot Oscar. Inbetwen, tough call. Would depend on what transfers "in", are stuck because of lack of funds. My guess he'll go 30 minutes before the end of the wivdow closing.
My pessimism rate is on "30 seconds to midnight"
