Callum O Hare To Wrexham

A massive test on the owners resolve, 6 to 8 million may prise him away, we are destined for minus 12 pts anyway so what difference would he make, we are not going up and can possibly still survive with the manager and players we have left. If the manager then leaves we are truly fucked, so lets just hope this is all bollocks and the main men will hold their own...........for now

Just don’t see how you replace him at this late time.

Seems a strong desire from Wilder to play 4-2-3-1. The relies on O’Hare.

If we did then someone mentioned Lieron Dowell who plays for Hull and was with us for a brief period, been told he’s unlikely to make the 25.

There’s a Japanese lad called Ito on the free list who have a very decent scoring session in Belgium’s top division. But that’s me quoting a player I know little about. I haven’t watched Belgium football since we offload Beerschot.

A younger player is Alex Gilbert, was at Boro who released him. He’s only 24, Irish. Can also play on the left. 3 goals and 4 assists in 40 for Boro at this level.

Dele Ali too.

I just don’t see it, unless we are genuinely going to go 4-4-2 and flick to 5-3-2 occasionally.

Simple answer we can't. O Hare is all over the pitch not just doing his thing up front, we will never get another if we sell. The resolve is how much influence the manager has on the owners. All those you mention may be good acquisitions in a flowing team who may benefit, we aint. I hope he stays he is so good to watch

Losing COH would change the whole team dynamic. I can see Wilder publicly falling out with owners if this happens but like his previous fall out with owners at Northampton (I think).
If not he and others are complicit.

🤣😉

Could anyone really blame him if he did go somewhere?

He signed for a promotion hopeful, we are no where fucking near one of those anymore

He signed to play with his mate, we’ve sold him

He signed to play football. He’s now the only player we have physically capable of maintaining a high intensity press. But in reality he’s pressing the balls that McGuinness and Tanganga have lumped over his head for the 47th time.

I would usually say at this point anyone bar Wrexham because Parkinson’s football is shite but the mad thing is that even Parkinson’s Wrexham play more football than we do these days.

We’ll know if he’s not in tomorrow’s line up. Still time for him to be playing for Wrexham tomorrow.

That may be so, but if you manage to acquire a Rolex for ‘free’ you don’t want to sell it for £50 either.

And it wasnt a 'free' transfer. I think it was well known at the time that O'Hare reveived a rather generous signing on fee from United which ran into the millions. The transfer fee as such went to the player rather than Coventry as he had ran down his contract. So if we gave him away cheaply, weve also wrote off the 'fee' that we gave to him as an enticement to sign on with us in the first place.

Anyway, i wouldnt be at all surprised if Deadly Danny from the Stir, was acting on the request of the club to run a story about this when the club have no intention of selling. Adding a story about one of our better players leaving (he wont be) takes fans thoughts away from Utds failure so far to get the necessary number of signings in through the door. When we only sign one more and the 'we will be exploring the free agents market' shout goes up, it will be caveated with the 'and the club had to stay strong to resist last minute approaches for our own players....'. The fans are suddenly then thinking, 'well we didnt bring in what we needed, but at least we didnt lose our better players'....

In business, its like giving out bad information in the old shit sandwich. You start off telling the staff things that are fairly positive, then drop in the shit message that pisses people off, then add in some positive news again. So, 1) Were looking to bring in a few players, 2) The current best players may be sold, 3) We didnt get the new players we wanted... but at least our better players are still here, so everyone can be happy again.

To me, he’s one of few players in the opposition’s half who matches the workrate of Ndiaye and he was exceptional off the ball.

I just wish he had similar ball control.

He's not a winger and we don't play a no.10.

Hypothetically, would you take 8m and swap him for two wingers. A Cleary and Rak-Saki? I probably would.
We don't play a no.10 ?
That's not the only thing we don't play 🤣
We don't play ANY TYPE of cohesive attacking football 🤬
I sat in stunned silence at Cardiff whilst Cannon drifted out to the RW and we lumped endless high balls up to CoH , the teeny tiniest player on the pitch.
I tried to get hold of a consultant psychiatrist on emergency call so they could come and Section the manager and the entire team , based on 5 minutes observation of the empirical evidence on the pitch.
