Think it's clear he's off. Deal is likely to be further down the road than what is reported.
Harry Amass on loan to replace?? Would be funny, and a decent option

If they get up to 7 or 8 million then I would cash in. Hoever can also play left back and we can bring RND back or sign another.

Maybe try for that Amass as Man U may offload permanently?

Investing it into Amass with maybe Man U holding a buy back option to ensure we aren’t paying a big fee would be an excellent bit of business. Would definitely want a higher valuation than 5m to sell Burrows though.

If Wilder gets the money to spend elsewhere I think it makes perfect sense too offload him and bring RND back. He's been really poor this season and whilst he has potential, he's not a first teamer so we'll obviously consider a bid of £5m,+
I think that Burrows, Hamer and Campbell are the 3 players (of decent value) that Wilder would be willing to let go if he gets the money from any sales to spend. I would also agree with him on this.

My guess is Wilder will be more than happy with £5-6m. He loves RND and he'll probably think/hope he can spend the money elsewhere. I don't think he's actually that good personally but he could improve

I really thought Burrows would be a top player for us but he’s a shadow of the player we first signed. I genuinely don’t think he wants to be here, because he has the ability but just isn’t showing this season.

Also, RND is definitely not the answer, back up or otherwise. We need better.

well its been stated that amass is wanted by 3 championship clubs on loan we could well be one of the 3 he played well against us at the sty and it would really piss that lot off lol

Recall RND from QPR. Supposedly lighting it up this season, though I haven't watch a single second of his action
Not lighting it up exactly, but beginning to look a bit more like the player we had before the injuries. Solid enough Championship full back who can get forward. Nothing more than that, but an improvement on the player who left to go on loan. A capable enough deputy for McCallum.

What’s the sell on for Posh?

Have you just said that out loud? 😳

I'd rather have Burrows but RND means we don't need to bring in a back up LB to McCallum meaning the money should theoretically be able to be spent elsewhere. He's been good for QPR this season and Wilder loves him. I'd even guess Wilder would prefer a fit RND to Burrows

£5m seems cheap. Not much more than we paid and I’m sure Peterborough have a sell on?

Yeah he's not going to be a game changer but the fact he's come back into form and fitness means we don't have to worry about bringing in a back up LB

Wouldn't be surprised if he stayed.

Bit of a sad story here though. He had a good season last season. And his strike Vs Sunderland in the playoffs final not only could and maybe should have stood. It was worthy of a Wembley setting. Such a shame on a club and for him a personal account that VAR was implemented and also decided Souza was interfering.

Did we sign him for £3m? Can't remember now.

I'd want a bit more than £5m personally. Appreciate probably can't get much more right now.In fact at some point last season he would possibly have commanded £10m or over.

I'd also be more than happy for him to stay and him try and turn his united career back around. But if he helps balance some books this season or next for the right price fair enough.

Can't see we are so super hard up if we've brought in Hoever. Loan fee and wages won't be cheap.
