They did the same in lifting Robertson from Hull,in a suprise move,he'd come on a treat there.

Think Robertson has played for hill in the top flight though. If Burrows does go then it will likely be to someone like one of the promoted teams I'd guess.

Burrows or Kerkez tough decision. Burrows will have put himself in plenty of prem teams scouting books this season but none of the elite ones and I’d imagine all prem teams will want to see him continue to show progression before making a move for him

Burrows started great, faded in the middle and towards the end then came back with a vengeance for the play offs. Like so many of our players he lacks consistency before he can reach the next level. No Premier League clubs will come in for him this summer.

Burrows is one of those players who seems to be immune from being criticised. He has a great left foot and is a great bloke but he is not a good defender - in a similar way to Bogle and Seriki. A major turning point at Wembley was Mayenda’s goal. Burrows just left Mayenda and got sucked unnecessarily to the ball, leaving JLT totally exposed. Plenty on here criticising JLT for getting beaten and Moore for his “pass” at the end and yet Burrows’ naive defending doesn’t get a mention!

I agree with you. Burrows is an adequate defender, no more. Still young & learning though. He would have got regularly handed his arse in the PL next season and been one of the weakest points in a weak team.

Burrows is 23 playing his first season in the championship so was never gonna be the finished product. Moore and Robinson are experienced pros who you’d expect less likely to be error prone- hence why they’ve received more criticism.
