Match still on despite covid outbreak and not being able to name a full bench.
The starting lineup is ok, let's hope they rise to the occasion because the backup isn't overstrong

Surely tonight was an opportunity to allow some of the younger lads to be part of it, a lot of them involved in training why not give them a taste of a premier league COVID match day.

I suspect Moose and Burke, will be 50/40 mins each. I hope its McG in the hole rather than right of a 3, because unless he has suddenly found fitness, I am not sure we will get the best out of Moose, having him lead the line by himself.

7 out of 10 of the outfield players are defenders (including Osborn). Sounds like we're parking the bus maybe? Hoof ball it to Didzy? Brewbrew/Moose on the lay offs? We shall see.

My prediction...
We will see the ball in the air more than on the ground.

Is Jack Rodwell actually alive? I reckon Chris has killed him and buried him under the Kop.

Lys Mousset leads the line.

A combination of illness and injury has resulted in just seven subs, which includes the returning Kean Bryan.

This seems fair enough given the injuries. I do find it disappointing that we'd rather have fewer players on the bench than put a couple of young lads on there. It seems a shame not to give anyone a trip with the squad and would lead me to ask the question regarding my future here tbqf.

No McNeil for Burnley, which is good, but Brady back.

That might not be wholly wilders choice last time with covid the academy and first team set ups were completely separated which might have happened again seeing as we’ve had positive tests. In this situation any lad who traveled today would be unavailable for the academy for two weeks tests permitting.

Browny summed it up about Brewster he has to do more runs he did 4 against while Calvert Lewin did 24 he needs to pull his finger out now

Brewster’s got to make runs! near post, back post etc. too predictable! Come on Brewster put yourself about👍

As I’ve continually said, Ramsdale is the least of our problems.

COMe ON BLADES
