So if we win, Burnley are not yet confirmed as promoted, and Leeds also are not yet confirmed as promoted whatever the result at Stoke. We could still get an auto place. I wish I had your positivity. Too old I guess, 43 games have showed we are not tip 2 this year. Doesn't mean we should roll over and submit to the mighty Clarets, far from it. For some reason the match was played on the Saturday evening kicking off at 7.30pm , I do not know the reason for this, about 10 years ago I asked Sharrowblade if he could find out the reason for this in the match programme. His reply was ..

"It was indeed during the period of the three day week.

The week before this game, United played Spurs at the Lane (2pm kick off). United reportedly attempted to secure the services of a mobile generator in order to power the floodlights and after succeeding, were told they weren't allowed...

Last Saturday I was about to burn the Lane down with Wilder inside it.

Then my Christian forgiveness and brotherly love took hold.
