Used to see Dave Basset power walking around Dore in a shellsuit.

Met John Halls at some Esquire type awards ceremony, think he's a male model now.

Christian Nade in Rhino's after he moved to Hearts. Somebody he said he made friends with all the strippers and still went to visit.

I've also met George Santos, but I met him in Manor Top Asda, and I asked him if he had intended to do Andy Johnson, and he laughed and smiled and said "what do you think"

He is built like a brick shithouse, and he came across as enjoying talking to the fans, although I suspect he does get asked the Johnson question a lot.

What does he do now anyway?

Chico Hamilton, many years ago at the Pitz 5 a side complex, he was a regular used to 'coach' the kids that turned up, not in a do this,, do that, don't do that way, just played football, got the kids to vote who was man of the match and dipped his hand in his own pocket gave the MoM a few quid.

Tony Kenworthy in Josephines in mid eighties. Said that Ian Porterfield 'knew everything about football from Y to Z'.
Played Sunday football against David Ford in late 70s. He was fuckin hopeless. Also against Brian Joicey (not a Blade obviously). Ditto, hopeless. But also against Emlyn Hughes, who was absolutely terrific, and far too good.....
