Thought he was generally poor when he came on today to be honest. Lost the ball a few times and is so easily pushed away or shepherded away from the ball. Undoubted talent and has been good but I don't think he's shown enough to make us create a system that suits him specifically.

Our system has been immense and we play it really well, sadly the loss of Coutts just means we now can't play it as well as before. It's still the best way forward for us at the moment. 2 average results doesn't require a total overhaul yet.

We can play the 5 at the back and still bring Brooks in. Playing off Clarke ala pigs away.

I think we will improve vastly with Baldock back in.

I thought it was odd today that Carruthers went wide and Brooks more central when they came on - I would have thought it would have suited both to swap that around.

The subs gave us a breath of fresh air ,Brooks had the assist it gave us that belief that we could win it at the death.
We needed to get that first goal today score that and with Brum's confidence away from home it could have had a different ending.
These goals from outside the area are killing us get to work on the practice ground for next week.

It depends on the game for me. He works well with Clarke, but then Billy gets a lot of goals. 21 goals between Billy and leon shouldn’t be sniffed at.

Brooks is good later in games, he’ll get his chance to start soon enough but away at Millwall? Not sure it’s the best game for him

Not really. Started well though, he always offered an option wide right and worked hard. He’s a better option at RWB than Basham if the usual 2 are out for me.

Millwall is the perfect game for him. He’s played in 2 nasty imtimdating atmospheres away from Home at Leeds and Wednesday... he had a huge impact in both. He isn’t fazed, he’s fearless and bloody brilliant.

Not much, it’s not like he goes walkabout for 80 minutes and doesn’t work back.

Do you really think we need to change our system? Brooks offers nothing defensively at all. In the last 4 games we've scored 12 goals! Surely our issue isn't up the top of the pitch, It's defensively. Birmingham have really struggled to score away from home and forced a few last ditch challenges this evening.

Brooks is clearly a real talent but Clarke is unbelievable at the moment, Sharp is the natural goal scorer he has always been and Duffy has been excellent. Brooks is being kept out of the side by some players on superb form. His chance will come, but nothing I've seen in the last few games makes me think we need him starting now.

Yeah no qualms about him handling the atmosphere, just think it won’t be as open as the last two so I’d rather see players that can keep to the shape and hold the ball for the early parts of the game. Not a criticism of brooks as I love the flair in his game but he plays a free role normally

That’s very simplistic. Our last 3 goals have all been with Brooks on the pitch.

I love the way Brooks and Clarke play off each other but I think he might fade during 90 mins.

He's the perfect impact sub.

The problem with Sharp is he likes to be the focal point of the attack but so does Leon. This leaves him drifting wide where he's not as affective.

I'd like to see Donaldson with Clarke, see if he can get in behind the defence when Clarke wins the ball.

I love the bones of Brooksy, and if I'm honest, I think we have usually seen best of him when he is part of a team in the ascendancy - not necessarily fighting to get back in a game. He has undoubtably great skills which I really hope this team will reap the benefits.
