As there's no match thread yet (I assume Dempsey & Makepeace are busy childing) putting this here.

Going to be a tough game. I fancied City at the start of the season but they've been inconsistent. They certainly have the attacking players to hurt us.

If everyone was fit enough to play, I'd go:

----------------------Wes

Baldock - Basham - Egan - Robinson - Osborn

--------Doyle----Norwood-----Fleck

-------------Sharp--- Ndiaye

Anel suspended and giving McBurnie a rest.

I reckon we're going to get a few surprises though listening to the press conference.

Sachdev and Arblaster not travelled with the U-21s so likely in the squad.

I reckon McAtee or Khadra will start. I have a feeling Ndiaye might not.

I reckon a draw might be the likely outcome.

Sharp off fir McBurnie, get Illy up the pitch. Fuck knows what we do about Osborne- they will attack that flank relentlessly. I’m afraid that Fleck is also too easily bypassed hence the pressure there

That was like Bristol playing a Non league team in the Cup.

Flecks 'runs' in treacle, Osborn looks like a fan who's won a competition, basham is so so error prone this year. Khadra like a shorter slower Oliver Burke

As we've seen previously unless N'diaye plays well, we are awful

A chance for Mcatee to show us what he's got in the second half

Cracking player that Scott, can’t say I’d heard of him before but commenters bigging him up so must have been catching the eye for some time.

Somet needs to change at half time - don’t know what but we’re getting overrun here

People talk about the size of our squad etc, but what nights like tonight demonstrate is the backup players aren't good enough. Osborn, Basham, Fleck, Khadra, Sharp not good enough. Simply cannot afford to carry that many players. They've either been out and out liabilities, complete passengers, or both.

Better be a response in the second half. Abysmal and we are lucky to go in without having conceded. I hate playing against Weimann as well.

Bit of a mess. We're so short in certain areas.

It might help if someone at the club stops Fleck drinking so much. He may as well not be there. Jogging around, closing no one down. nothing.

Baldock has been out of position so many times I lost count. Also failing to track markers. I could play through him and Basham.

Khadra was poor with the ball. Used it well once, but the rest of the time lost it. Unlucky he wasn't fed through by Ndiaye after running half the pitch and looked a bit off after that, so might be an injury but in truth we were starting to get overrun.

We need to get some kind of control. All the forward have been poor so far.

I think sometimes you have to credit the opposition, I think Bristol have played very well, without working foderingham, I think this seems like a game for mcburnie, he can hold it up and also with the amount of crosses and corners they're getting he will do what he does defensively

There’s too much wrong all over the pitch to fix it.

Best we can hope for is 0-0 or a scrappy 1-0.

I can’t see the performance improving dramatically there are too many points to address.

Can’t deny that was a horrible shitty error-prone disjointed performance. Made Brizzle look good somehow.

The only time we strung some good passes together is when we went passing backwards. Fleck Norwood and Khedra might as well be at home. Defence looks dodgy. Bash is trying but not looking composed. It has to be the worst performance since we got relegated. No cohesion coordination or pattern to what we are doing.
many of the games after the international break have felt like pre season friendlies from our part, not knowing your best team, lots of mistakes, getting players upto speed…..

We improved slightly after the change, but then poor again.
Oli mc on after 60
That Scott is some player

Devoid of absolutely ANYTHING…..had to laugh before the West Brom game, the pundits saying that the performances haven’t matched the results according to the manager, is Hecky fucking blind…

that’s was shite… too much messing around with the team, even with the injuries keep to the winning team as much as possible.
