Didn't the Blades Revival become something else - Super Draw (I think)
It changed so that the money earnt from Super Draw was then ploughed into the Academy.
Considering that this is what most fans wanted us to concentrate on this season, I'd say that we should be looking to keep with funding the Academy rather than over paid has beens
As a founder member of the original Blades Revival, from the year??????, you are right it was changed or amalgamated with the Super Draw.
I seem to recall that when it started the money went towards signing new players.
I have a inkling that it was started in Dave Bassett's days.

I remember that night ,I went with Sam Sears who was Miss sheff utd at the time ,not as boyfriend unfortunately.
Revival literally changed my life when Graham Benstead drew me a grand out in 1989 ,,notice in on Monday ,Enterprise allowance scheme the following week, in business for 22 years after that.

I was a "founder" member of Blades revival (did you stick to the carpet too in the Roxy that night....) until we sold Beagrie, when I jacked it in disgust. If memory serves, the money raised from his sale bought the likes of Deane and Agana who fired us from division 3 to te top flight.
What do we know, eh?

We wouldn't have had the legend of Richard Cadette without Blades Revival- first signing I think.
Seem to remember queuing ages to get in Roxy and we had to hold two nights of it such was the interest. We were in the shit as a club but there was strange kind of Blades passion and optimism around that time that we could rise from the ashes and be a genuine big club..
If we tried the same now we'd struggle to fill a pub. And we'd struggle to raise £10,000 from a 'Hodges raffle'
