The landlord, D Trump esq, welcomes minorities especially Mexicans, Chinese, and People of colour generally.

Despite the outwardly welcoming appearance of colour the closest pub to the Lane, away fans may be advised to exercise a little caution....

I do feel guilty a little. I took a Wendy mate with me once on derby day, said u are ok with that blue and white shit you wear. Good looking kid, bit like Brad Pitt, came out looking like John Merrick.

Pubs look excellent, similar to Brighton with a wide range. Looks like we should start at the station? and then progress to the other excellent suggestions and maybe watch the early Kick Off too!

Setting off at 6.30 and coming up via Doncaster so after a few beers on the train it should be a good day out. It's also my final Premier League ground to tick off and (I think) 153rd overall. It's certainly one I've wanted to tick off for a while, with a near sell out from us it should be a good atmosphere.

Won't bring the Coronavirus or anything blue / white related and I don't think I've ever worn colours for an away game so that shouldn't be a problem. None of the people we are coming up with are young / stupid.

Not worries lads you will fit in fine whichever pubs you find yourselves in you don't even have to wear a flat cap these days.
Just remember to wear your oversized "Y" fronts that come half way up your chest and don't forget to tuck your shirt inside them so we can all see you've been wearing them for a week or so like a true dirty northern baaaaarsted. See anyone in a wheelchair then tip em out see anyone who could be a granny then give her a few punches in the kidneys. If you are a bit unsure have a look on the Norwich forums they will tell you how we do it.

If you see star jumpers and Birmingham bags and you can smell Brut youve got off a station too early, look right there is a crooked spire.
 
I fondly remember when I did my ankle playing cricket and my mum had to bring me to the lane in a wheelchair ,on arrival we both got repeatedly punched in the kidneys and I was tipped out of my wheelchair.we can smile about it now but at the time it was terrible!
 
If you are a bit worried coming out of the station jump in a taxi (not a D-taxi you might have a long wait) and ask to be dropped off at Hillsborough or the sty. Apparently there is a tunnel somewhere round there which brings fans with a preference to blue and white stripes directly into our away end.

If you ask for directions ask for sheff because from chesterfield they can't spell long names they all come from Brim,Whit,Bowser,Ducky ect

Penny Black is the opposite direction to the ground from the station, and not a recommended away fans pub as far as I know.

Howard across from the station welcomes away fans, but is a bit studenty and bland. If you are coming by car you could visit the pubs round Kelham Island

Would second the Dev Cat and Beer Engine. Also the Sheaf Island, a Weatherspoons on Ecclesall Rd, the other side of Waitrose from the Beer Engine.

Also, if you are all gay you could try Dempsey's.

Well did any small southern children get their kidneys splattered? I saw a jackdaw attack one and steal his doritos but he didn't get winged in the lower torso as far as I could see.
 
Several Brighton fans went past me at Toddington Services. Two lots even had the audacity to shout, "Seagulls!" out the window at me. Thanks, but I'd have preferred a lift. I really hope they struggled to find a parking spot in Sheffield.

As for myself, I made it by the skin of my teeth, missing the first minute of play, and then all that I saw was lots of balloons being popped.
 
Thought Brighton fans were great, good banter and a great following. Hope the poor bugger who fell over outside the globe and smashed his face in is OK, it didnt look good.

I think if you take the same pragmatic approach to your opposition during the rest of the season you should be (hopefully) safe this season. Wasn’t a pretty match to watch and I think we could/should have won, which is testimony to the tactics employed.

Glad you enjoyed our city, it’s a fair trip from Brighton.

I don’t think you will unless you’ve done something really bad and they relegate you 2 divisions

Fucking Birmingham bags...... had me properly laughing that did. I had some bottle green ones - pockets & buttons everywhere....
