Seriously, I would like to see Burke and Brewster up front. Brewster gets into great positions in the box but no one gets the ball into him. I think Burke would.

He did everything right for me. Put it into an unsaveable spot. Just a shame it wasn't 3mm lower. If he had tried to go across the GK, i would fancy him to save it.

Mcburnie and Mgoldrick upfront not working should be dropped in my humble opinion. Brewster and Burke I would go with. change tactics and be a lot more direct. or a front free of Brewster Burke and Mousey excuse my bad spelling. the usual tactics are not working. I for one will always back Sir Chris for what he has done for us is outstanding. look on the bright side 31 games to play plenty of time to recover. Up The Blades.

I thought Brewster looked way sharper than in his previous outings. I hope he can keep it up and I hope we get some players with attacking intent on the pitch very soon.

But why does Brewster not follow his pass? if he'd followed the pass he could have offered an option for McBurnie to square it. And he would have been in a good position to get on the rebound.

He was 25 yards behind him to offer and option to square it McBurnie would have lost any advantage to hit the crossbar over the trailing defence

Which makes a case for Burke being involved

But he did follow it up. Look at it again. If the ball had hit the bar and come back out horizontally, rather than at an angle, he was perfectly placed to get the rebound. That's just the way things go - you make a run and hope the ball finds you.

So the negatives on Brewster coming out of Liverpool and ultimately the reasons Klopp said he was willing to let him leave was him not being the complete player in terms of link up play and willingness to press even though he is clinical in front of goal. Yesterday there were flashes of it clicking for him that through ball for McBurnie and the flick for Berge both times he came deep looking to link. The Berge flick was a lovely bit of skill and great speed of thought and the through ball for McBurnie was class I know it’s not a goal or a brace but it is a sign of development in a very young player and it is progress.

Great through ball.....don't think McB did much wrong and an inch or so lower it is an excellent equaliser that would have got us all raving.

FWIW however i think Moose would have buried that chance.....but I don't think Billy would have even got a shot away.....

I'm confident in the positions that Oli got himself into and buoyed by the fact we now seem to be playing him the kind of balls that he likes to receive. He'll come good. Easily as good as Bamford and he's got a decent haul already.

Having £50 on him scoring anytime against West Brom

Thing is with Bamford though last year he looked and played like a Championship striker. He was arguably down right awful and I know I had to watch quite a few leeds matches and fans at one point were not looking forward to the PL with him.

This year he started off looking the same Championship striker but after a goal or two he upped his game and now looks like a PL forward. He creates his own opportunities because they still play with one forward a lot of the time.

McBurnie looked like a championship striker from Jan thru to summer and now looks arguably like a League one striker !
