Fanciful thinking there.

Public eye figure (and one with a history of violence) is filmed offering more of it to a person on the floor. There's your summing up statement from the prosecution, along with the question why he didn't fuck off inside when the fans were running riot, safe in the knowledge he may be a catalyst for an incident.

I have no sympathy. I don't want him at the club or wasting a shirt shithousing up front for us either. We have tolerated his shit long enough

pommpey
What's his history of violence ?

I can tell you that the Police force in Nottingham is and has been a shift show for many years even after they were put in "Special measures" some years ago, I know some of the antics they got up to just to avoid attending crime scenes.

Just for the record, I had a business there (sold it 10 years ago), and i lived on the outskirts of Nottingham.

He finished leading scorer (joint) and appeared more than any of our other strikers during his first season when we finished 9th in the Prem.
Fair point to be honest.

I still stand by what I said however. I'm not saying he's a bad footballer but he just doesn't seem to fit at the club.

As I predicted this is going to court.

I won’t comment further as I’ve previously been accused of having an “agenda” but surely most of you will agree that it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if in the not too distant future we were able to free up his wages to bring a couple of players in who might actually contribute a bit more to the first team than McBurnie has.

What sound business advice that is

Instead of getting him fully fit and playing him and attempting to get a player resembling the one we had in the Prem or Swansea had

We should release him and write off £15million 😮😮😮🤣🤣🤣😮😮😮

Yeah … no matter if he’s innocent or guilty convict him so we can free up some cash 🙄

Some right tossers follow his club!
I think there's quite a bit of a leap here from what Mario actually said to what you're inferring.

I know two things.

1) McBurnie probably is guilty as sin here, he's a bit of a wrong un
2) There is no way on god's green earth he is going to get a guilty verdict against him - there is no evidence.

I'll also say, both him and Brewster were showing that they are thick as owl crap that night, what were they thinking?

Sure this has been done to death but if that idiot doesn't put himself in that position McB doesn't take the steps he does. Whatever McB may or may not have done its the fault of the fan and Notts Forest. Add to the fact that they avoided any punishment so far makes
this decision laughable. What if the fan had been armed everyone would be praising McB

So Brewster who pulled a guy onto the floor get his charges dropped but McBurnie in a medical boot gets charged with assault by beating . How much does race play into that decision or is it solely because he reacted to a piece of shit in Knaresborough last year? Seems like a bit of a witch hunt to me by those from Nottingham, again why have no charges been made by the FA when they have targeted Everton, Huddersfield and Port Vale for crowd disorder? Again why no police investigation from Nottinghamshire constabulary when Merseyside, Staffordshire and the West Yorkshire forces are actively seeking people involved in the pitch invasions and disorder in their areas? Maybe McBurnie should elect to have trial by jury at say Derby Crown court, I would have said Sheffield Crown court but looking at some of the posts on here he would hardly get a fair trial in this city either. His guilt or non guilt are not really anything to do with how many goals he has scored for the Blades believe it or not.
As Ive said before we should inudate the FA with complaints about no action being taken about the 4 pitch invasions at Forest last season. The latest seeing one of our players being assaulted and emprisoned for 10 weeks?

Two things

First, a question. Could it be requested that it’s moved to Crown Court? I’m not a fan of magistrates - part timers. Or would it be a case of having to appeal if found guilty?

Second, I think it’s time our local press made a bit of an issue of this, particularly why Forest haven’t been charged.
I doubt that Forest will be charged until McB’s case is finished.

I know two things.

1) McBurnie probably is guilty as sin here, he's a bit of a wrong un
2) There is no way on god's green earth he is going to get a guilty verdict against him - there is no evidence.
There clearly is evidence otherwise the CPS would not have pushed ahead and the magistrate sent it for trial

Surely McB’s solicitors could argue that anyone giving evidence against McBurnie must have been on the pitch illegally and therefore could be charged and banned for life… 🥳😂

I’m not sure if his defence team are aware, but there is plenty of footage on ‘Blades player’ that would quite clearly corroborate, that any connection between McBurnies foot and the injured parties head, was not necessarily intentional. 🤦🏻

Surely to prosecute McB, the dog botherer and all witnesses called, need to admit to themselves breaking the law!?

This has only gone this far because McBurnie has a previous record.

I'll also say, both him and Brewster were showing that they are thick as owl crap that night, what were they thinking?
Without going back to check... the video is probably in this thread somewhere... But the kid who got ragged to the floor by brewster was in the face of a few of our subs faces, I think Bogle was one of them.
He was clearly being an absolute Cockend. Brewster ragged him to the floor as a result.

There must be a complainant towards McBurnie that sees an opportunity to get some easy money , else it would be dropped like brewster , i bet you any money this too will be eventually dropped .

I'm willing to bet with anyone who will take it that charges will be dropped or the case thrown out of court by the judge

I have not seen a video with conclusive evidence that he intentionally stands on him , why not post the one you have seen on here?
Yeah you’ve just seen the one where he was trying to “step over him”.🤦🏻‍♂️

Any particular reason why?
...because it may prejudice McB’s case. We don’t know what evidence is available.
It does seem odd that someone is charged with an offence against another who is illegally invading his work place, so I would hope that he is acquitted. We don’t know if the “victim” is giving evidence !!
