Surely to prosecute McB, the dog botherer and all witnesses called, need to admit to themselves breaking the law!?

This has only gone this far because McBurnie has a previous record.

For the dog nonce in particular, being caught on the pitch is the least of his worries.

I have always had a liking for Mcburnie he is a 110% trier. However if he has caught the prick sweet with his boot it will be the 1st thing he as hit right in 18 months. High hope's for him this season and in court 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

There must be a complainant towards McBurnie that sees an opportunity to get some easy money , else it would be dropped like brewster , i bet you any money this too will be eventually dropped .
Precisely what money do you think they would get?

I’m afraid this is very misguided. Like those who thought that girl accused Evans of rape to make money (not saying you’re one of them).

He’s not a 100% trier though is he. He runs around a lot, chucks his weight about, gets up for headers. But how much time does he spend working on his game?

Does he keep fit, work hard at training, focus everything on football? It doesn’t seem like that. More interested in tweeting about UFC at 2am.

Every video you see behind the scenes at United he’s dicking around. He’s been arrested multiple times. When are we going to just cut our losses?

Surely McB’s solicitors could argue that anyone giving evidence against McBurnie must have been on the pitch illegally and therefore could be charged and banned for life… 🥳😂
Why would they do that? It won’t get him off.

People aren’t allowed to break into your home, but if a drunk person crashes through your door and you shoot him in the head, you’re going to the big house.

Self defence will be his only option, assuming they can’t argue it never happened.

He’s going for free anyway, he can talk to clubs in January about a free transfer.

He cant , he can talk to clubs abroad

Also a lot o our players have a year extension clause so he may have that

Also i am pretty sure he would rather stay at the lane as , as much as he has stunk the place out and been injured for a good year the fans do like him and he is popular

How does Brewster get off and McB not though ?

Brewster pulls him to the floor from behind. If he doesn't do that, McBurnie can't stand/stamp/stepover him

He can talk to clubs from the 1st January, and sign a pre contract agreement. Granted if it’s to move to another English club he has to be into the last month of his contract but I think we all know where his heart is and where he wants to play, in Scotland. So expect him to open talks in January, Rangers might not want him anyway, we won’t offer him a new deal so he could run it down to the last month and sign for someone in the champ/league 1.. one things for sure we have done our money on him, we are not seeing a penny back and he will leave for free. Popular? That has completely passed me by if that’s the case. Nothing against the lad and the court case is a shambles and I hope he gets off with it but when it comes to football he is beyond useless and no blind faith fan of his can tell me otherwise.

Lower leagues beckon for McBurnie where he may just find his level.

Co-incidence that the charge is made the day after Mcb's hearing. At least the FA have finally carried out their duties and made the charge under rule E.20.1

There is little doubt Florist will avoid sanctions the extent will depend on the strength of conviction of the FA in clamping down on these invasions. Violent actions occurred resulting in an SUFC player being hospitalised. Players and staff were attacked as a direct consequence of poor stewarding and policing which offered no protection whatsoever. Fans were out of control and threw items into the away end that could have resulted in serious injury.

Will the FA have the balls to hand out ground closure and points deductions, not a chance imo and a paltry fine will ensue.

This charge can be used in mitigation by Mcb's counsel and will set the scene in presenting his defence. It alone does not provide sufficient grounds for the case to be dismissed. It does however add weight to the argument that significant public order offences were occurring in an out of control situation with hundreds of breaches of the Football (Offences) Act 1991 culminating in the ensuing unprovoked attacks.

Apart from his contribution on the field the last two seasons, another thing that is frustrating about McBurnie is that he's never fit and available when the summer window comes along so you can't even sell him.

Last season he was going through his covid Mary episode. Christ knows how he managed to be unavailable for so long with covid and vaccine related issues. Then he also had that stamping on the phone court case over him. Partly injured too after his own theatrics vs Southampton.

This summer he's injured once more, misses pretty much all pre-season out on the grass and he's got another court case against him.

Honestly. Would it be too much to ask for him to actually be available so we can flog him?

Can I be the first to offer my services to flog him.

Oh sorry, you mean sell him.

Just to put into context the powder puff sanctions the FA impose on Clubs when fans invade the pitch and opposition players get assaulted. £16.5k fine for the Gas, no deterrent whatsoever. Yes its a league 1 club and yes EPL clubs will get higher fines but this makes a mockery of the supposed firmer stance to be taken.

Why would it be?

Because unless you're a whiny little cunt it wouldn't be. A soppy twat who molests small creatures illegally minces 'his' way onto the pitch, gets giddy and joins with a group of bigger boys who are giving our players some shit, slips off his high heels and fears for his life because a bloke with a cast on almost fell on him. Maybe that's over simplifying it but that's what happened.

Drop the 'case' now, it's fucking embarrassing.

It’s hard to tell what Actually happened from the jerky footage but if we take our blades tinted specs off we may have to accept that oli Mac booted him.
He will of course plead provocation and rightly so.
I’m not sure this is going away any time soon without new evidence.
I suspect oli will get a slap on the wrist come the trial but who knows?
Yes the fans shouldn’t have been on the pitch but oli Mac shouldn’t have kicked one either.
I suspect the Crux of the trial will be which is the greater offence.

We al know what will happen… Oli will find his scoring boots and bag 15 goals before the trial. We will sit comfortable top of the league. He will get sent down for 6 months the goals will dry up. We will enter free fall and just scrape 6th spot on the last day of the season. Then go on to lose the play off final on penalties with league one Wes missing the 11th and final spot kick.

It’s the Sheffield United way.
