Wilder appoints McEveley captain!...

Go on, tell us your possible Worst Nightmare.

What news item would immediately puncture any feelgood factor surrounding Wilder's appointment?

Due to York City's relegation from L2, Chris Wilder would like to bring Cressy back to Bramall Lane.

"So Chris, how do you see the team setting up next season?"

"Well Andy, I think in Dean Hammond and Paul Coutts playing as a central 2 in a 4-4-2 formation, we have the skill, determination, pace and commitment to match anybody in this division. And in Martin Woolford and Connor Sammon, we have the supply and goals we will need"

He also added:

"I was all ready to fuck Conor Sammon off but I came across a thread on a football forum where one fan insisted that he brings "something" to the team, so I'm curious to see what that is.

Jose Baxter also asked me for a clean slate, but he wouldn't tell me what he wanted to use it for......."

Coutts and Woolford still contracted...will we pay em up or will Wilder want em'?

That the much talked-about cull doesn't happen. Apart from George Long, literally every out of contract player NEEDS to be released.

Genuinely fear it won't happen now and the old "we're giving them a clean-slate" chestnut comes out. F*ck sake.

CW - "it's all about endeavour and I want you to watch these two three second clips from the Blackpool game so you understand where I'm coming from"

"It would be unfair of me to judge the players on last season. I will monitor their training after the holidays, asses them in some friendlies then make my decisions a couple of months into next season.
Everyone gets a clean slate and we start again from scratch"

Aggggggggghhhhhh

There is no feel good factor for me. I think as others are saying, noticing that serially average players are given yet another season to prove themselves is a huge worry now we have changed manager.

That's exactly what's happening, they're all gone apart from long

If he finds one of Adkins 'management speak for dummies' books in the desk draw and starts talking about pathways.

At Friday's press conference Wilder mentions "United together" 18 times, " attacking football" 12 times, "true Blades" 6 times, "patient football" 5 times, " big club" 12 times, "wonderful home crowd" 7 times, " I'm a Blade" 5 times.

Any better analogies than heart surgeons? Arthurs perhaps?
are these the arthurs that write plays
it dawned your thought process last night , slagging me off for using an u for an r , a one letter mistake then you saying he wrote books , but not using the o in author
a one letter mistake
that you found humourous
amazing how easily pleased you are
I thought a student of english language would baulk at using a misspelt word
thats why it whooshed , mocking my mistake with a word with a mistake in it
pretty pathetic

But not 'massive' as he knows what's what with the pigs.
