Cannot remember how bad his injury was, will he be back for the start of the season?

http://www.sufc.co.uk/news/article/sheffield-united-john-brayford-3034385.aspxCalf injury wasn't it? Can't imagine that would take Apr-Aug to heal?
Probably sounds brutal, but he's been a spent force since his last injury. I think it's probably fair to question how much of an asset he can actually be at this point.
From where I'm sitting, it sounds very brutal.
He was okay when he came back in with NA playing 5 at the back but in some games he had nothing in front of him to help track back. Given what Billy has said about lack of team spirit it wouldn't be a great surprise if JB's head dropped a bit when surrounded by lightweights.
A good team spirit and 11 players who want to play for one another and I think we will see the old Beard circa 2014.

Think he will & should leave, clearly Cloughs man only reason he came to us.
I agree vorps he may have come because of clough but he definitely came across as loving it here, excitement and confidence in the new regime will hopefully see the old bray back because a rampaging Brayford down the right seems to fit in perfectly with how Wilder seems to want to playI thought he was 'our' man too?

Based on what I've seen, and perception of wages, I'd flog him tomorrow.
Absolutely Brutal!
Brayford should be one of the players, like Sharp to take this club forward again. We've all moaned over the past few years about shit players being signed by shit managers... yet we have an excellent player in Brayford and people want rid.
Keep him, Keep Sharp, Keep Long, Keep Adams and build a side around these types of players. Yes they'll have bad games or a bad run of games, they may even get injuries, but they are amongst the quality we need to get back up

A shadow of his former self last season, Wilder needs to determine if he's committed.

I don't think a half decent bid will come, Clough may look to him for Burton but not sure they could really attract him with anything but the Clough factor.I think his wages my be the deciding factor here along with a movement within the club to draw a line under The Clough squad.
If a half decent bid comes in from a Champ club I would not be surprised to see him go.
Wise words swisswaspAbsolutely Brutal!
